I've been going for 20 years and Franz's breads, cakes, and pastries I feel are the best in Concord. I rank his classic bread and chocolate and opera cake as my all time favorites. Alles ist super!

Always a pleasure to visit and have lunch or a snack, pick up some bread or treats. European atmosphere.

Love this place! Good quality and selection of bread and pastries. The chocolate croissants are SO good. It reminds me of a European bakery. Good coffee, too.

Franz's pastries are extraordinary; easily the BEST croissant ANYWHERE! All his pastries are out of this world (from a world away) and his breads are perfectly chewy meat, delicately crispy crusts and wonderfully complex grains and herbs but oooohh so homey and comforting. Try a slice toasted with melted butter. YUM!!

Its not the best bakery I have been too. Not the friendliest either. I find the desserts dry. I want my grandmothers baked goods, not these

This is a bakery the way a bakery should be. Not only does everything look great, it also tastes great. Why go to Starbucks for a coffee, when you can go here.

All the bread and "viennoiseries" (the croissants, scones, rolls) are superb. And the cakes and cookies are irresistible. This is a haven for all dessert-lovers. And the sandwiches are delicious too! A great place for coffee, teatime, lunch... And admire the ceiling!

We very much enjoy going here, for breakfast treats, lunchtime sandwiches, or wonderful cakes when company is coming. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, and owner Franz is a pleasure to talk with. Happy to have this very unique bakery in Concord.
