This was one of a few wineries we visited since we had a skipper, and the best when it came to wine knowledge and enthusiasm

Being South Australian and rather biased to our own wines, we put Hay Shed Hill on our list purely on the recommendation of the cellar door guru from Elderton Wines but we weren't holding our breath. We were blown away. Not yet WA wine converts, places like Hay Shed are certainly helping! We will certainly be back!

Fabulous tapas lunch, probably the best food we had on our trip. It was recommended to us by the CEO of Latitude 34 vineyard & did not disappoint. Great setting & service.

One of the best wineries i have been to in the Margaret River region. An extensive list to try and all were absolutely amazing! I wish i could rate it more, the man helping us yesterday (I'm sorry, I'm not sure of his name!) was so much help, was really friendly and extremely knowledgeable! He took so much time explaining... Twelve dishes including desert and cheeses assortment for four - make sure you try all of them over a 2 1/2 hour eclectic dining experience. Attentive service on covered porch with fabulous vineyard views. You can choose wine paring but you don't need to drink to enjoy the best degustation menu in the Margaret River. Just do it!

We stopped for lunch and chose to do the 6 course degustation. All courses were amazing!!!! Highly recommend this place. Tapas style menu designed for sharing. Wonderful wine and great staff, very accommodating enabling us to do the degustation menu even though we had a short time frame being there with two small children 2 and 6m. The kids meals... More

We visited Hay Shed for wine tasting and had a really great time - nothing was too much trouble for the member of staff who looked after us ( mature with "silver" hair) and we were offered a large selection of wines. Needless to say we didn't leave empty handed. We also asked him about the restaurant and he went... More

We visited as a group of 6 friends and were very glad we had booked as it was a very busy Tuesday lunch. The 6 course menu was a hit with something for everyone and Megan our waitress made sure everyone was well catered to. As a group we loved the concept and in particular the goats cheese and pork... My husband and I stopped into Hayshed Hill for a tasting on our way through to Rustico where were having lunch. The setting is delightful as are the wines, topped off by the friendly informative staff.

Always visit this winery. The wine is great and always buy several bottles of the white varieties (usually SBS). It is one winery I would include on your visit to the region or if you are doing a winery tour. It is also not far from the Margaret River Chocolate Factory.
