This is in between Wren & the Colonial theater, so we try to go to eat when we can get a table. It's full a lot. I love to sit outside during the summer. The black bean cake is my favorite.

We don't find ourselves in this area very often but when we do we always have trouble finding healthy dining choices. This place really made us happy. Interesting, well prepared food, tasty ingredients. We ate a lot but did not feel stuffed. And, as always, when we eat good, healthy food we leave feeling good about it. The staff was... More

This cafe was mentioned in a AAA article about Bethlehem New Hampshire. Being only an hour drive for use we decided to try it for a mid-winter lunch. I'm glad we made the trip! The cafe is small and cozy, original artwork on the walls. We received a pleasant greeting as soon as we entered. The menu is eclectic with... More

We always go to the Cold Mountain Cafe for dinner during our annual winter trip since we love the food and atmosphere so well. This year we ended up having dinner there 2 days in a row, since we were so happy with our meals the first day. The specials change daily, so there are always great options. Had the... More

My husband and I stopped here for lunch while driving through Bethlehem en route from Vermont to Maine. We had also "stumbled upon" it a couple of years ago and somehow lost track of the name/location. We're so happy to have found Cold Mountain Cafe once again. The food is superb; the service warm and friendly. Definitely worth going out... More

We returned to Cold Mountain Cafe after enjoying a lunch here years ago. The decor is updated, the eclectic menu is still ambitious. It includes many vegetarian options, but also chicken, beef and pork. We enjoyed the homemade seafood chowder, spinach quiche and falafel sandwich. The cappuccino was nicely done and topped off lunch very nicely. They have a nice... More

Well the ratings speak for themselves and add me to the choir. Cozy, friendly restaurant with a small bar. We've been eating our way thru New England and wish we had more of a appetite. So we had the steamed mussels and crab cakes, both were very good. While there, we watched other menu items coming out of the kitchen... More

Caught wind of a winter special: "Burger & a Beer for $10 on Mondays", and figured sure, easy risk. Well, yeah...what a great return on the investment here. Local grass feed beef matched with a respectable list of choices in beer, $10.90 total. You'll want to tip more based on flavor and service though. Splurge, go for at least the... More

First time here and the food was wonderful, fresh and moderately priced. Small eclectic place with local art for sale on the walls. A lot of vegan entrees. Really enjoyed our meal. We had no reservation but the owner made us comfortable until a table opened up. We would definitely go there again.
