Enjoyed a nice breakfast, freshly prepared, famous for their breakfast bowls. Their homemade breads are Heavy and do not toast well. Had I known, I would have probably just ordered the bread. Overall good good, reasonably priced, and our waitress was extremely nice.

Service and omelette were just OK. Tiny serving of home fries. Seems like we were rushed out. Used to be a lot better. Didn't ask to refill coffee and it was not busy. Basically a disappointment this visit.

Great food for a small place. We got the breakfast bowls and some blueberry pancakes. Absolutely delicious and fresh. Great Rye toast and cute little coffee cups to sip while you wait for your table. We had a 20 min wait -- not bad at...More

The menu left me stunned !! I wanted one of everything and all of it had a new twist on old food. Great meal - kept us going right through to early dinner. Don't pass it up!!

If you like blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup, you will love this place. They come with Applewood bacon, ham or sausage. One disappointment is that they don't let you exchange the meat for two eggs. We were in the area for a week and...More

We were lucky. There were several parties waiting for tables when we arrived at about 8:30 AM Sunday but the hostess was able to seat us right away because they had an open table for 2. We both had build-your-own omlettes. Made with 3 eggs...More

Yes, it is fine for kids. There's not a lot of space to walk around because the tables are close together, but it is kid friendly.

We are a 49 seat Breakfast and Lunch Restaurant located on Stanley's Hill in Beautiful Glen NH! "Comfort Food with a Funky Mountain Vibe" Making everything from scratch and serving generous portions, at reasonable prices. At the Shack we try to serve local products when ever possible. Also, we have Beers on tap and in the bottle, a compact offerings of wine, Mimosa's and we are home to the Bloody Sunrise (a Bloody Mary served with Tuckerman's Pale Ale instead of Vodka.
