Tasty bloody mary to stary the morning off. I got one of the breakfast bowls, expecting there to be more. The special hash, wasn't so special. Prices were reasonable, and I wouldn't cross it off the list, for returning.

I had the breakfast bowl with everything and it was fresh and tasty. I didn’t get the French toast (pictured) but the table next to us did and he offered a picture. He said it was delicious. The service was good and the coffee was...More

First time I've had a beer with breakfast ( but I'm on vacation and it's 2:00 pm.) Tuckerman Pale Ale, a local beer. How could we not, the restaurant has a sign that says, " Cheers to breakfast beers". So good that we're planning on...More

This is a small place right off the highway. It is always busy. We came in and were able to sit at the bar area. Coffee was fresh and hot and breakfast bowls were wonderful and filling. A definite stop if you're near by.

My family has been coming here for several years and have always been impressed by the consistent quality of food. Prices are great and see has always been friendly. The place gets crowded quickly, so visit when they first open!

Awesome breakfast with lots of local flavor. As in local ingredients. But we also met some regulars who gave us some of the locals flavor! Funny and charming gentlemen at the counter! Had the special which was a monte Cristo. Delicious!! Highly recommend.

Worth the wait! It's a tiny place, so expect a wait during prime breakfast hours, especially on rainy days when all the campers can't make breakfast over a fire. But it's worth it!

Yes, it is fine for kids. There's not a lot of space to walk around because the tables are close together, but it is kid friendly.

We are a 49 seat Breakfast and Lunch Restaurant located on Stanley's Hill in Beautiful Glen NH! "Comfort Food with a Funky Mountain Vibe" Making everything from scratch and serving generous portions, at reasonable prices. At the Shack we try to serve local products when ever possible. Also, we have Beers on tap and in the bottle, a compact offerings of wine, Mimosa's and we are home to the Bloody Sunrise (a Bloody Mary served with Tuckerman's Pale Ale instead of Vodka.
