Been there a few times and each time all aspects of customer service and food quality is covered. I believe it is only a breakfast and lunch diner. Right now, they have the best breakfast in North Reno / 395 area. Soon to open will be Peg's Glorified Ham n Eggs and I suspect Hometown Cafe will the Peg's a... More

The diner is unassuming. The food is delicious and portions are huge! I've tried several items, but have a favorite lunch: Reuben sandwich!! The pricing is reasonable. Sometimes, the food can be a bit too salty, but generally it's good and feels home made.

Excellent small lunch/breakfast place in Lemon Valley. Good food and plenty of it, served quickly and efficiently. Local memorabilia and racing photos make for an eclectic décor.

The portions are huge, come hungry and leave not needing to eat until dinner. The first time I had the eggs and cornbeef hash. The eggs were done well, the hash was great done just right... More

Their biscuits & gravy are delicious. Belgian waffle with strawberries & whipped cream fantastic. Prime Rib dinner was served with a large piece of beef, cooked... More

I've enjoyed two omelets here. VegGies are always fresh! Country potatoes are great. All served quickly on a heated plate.
