Great traditional Mexican-quiet atmosphere. Loved the homemade tomales and their dinner called, the crying pig. If they ask you if you want it hot, note hot is hot!

Well third try at Bertha Mirandas. First time great 2nd time both my husband and I got sick from food too hot ( and I eat hot) or shrimp bad. I called and girl said she would tell cook and manager not even s call back. Chalked it off and then today on way out of town figured we grab... More

We had lunch there. The chips and salsa were really good. It's in an old building near downtown but the inside is so interesting with a lot of the old details still there. Nice patio outside also but it was Winter when we were there. I had the cheese enchilada and tamale with rice and beans. It was about eleven... More

Walked over from the National Car Museum for dinner and had a wonderful time. I had the Chimi and my friend had the Top Hat, and both of us were amazed at how good the food was. My Chimi was loaded with shredded beef and cheese and tasted fantastic. We also had the cheese and pepper appetizer which was so... More

"Stuck in Reno" due to weather conditions that forced us to arrive 2 days early for our flight back home. We toured the National Automobile Museum, then went looking for a place for a "light" lunch......pretty much right across the street was this quaint Mexican restaurant. We headed over and entered the side door - what a treat lay inside... More

The brunch menu is so good! Actually the whole menu is great with lots of different choices like the chicken chile relleno. The fresh flour tortillas are wonderful too

My husband and I split one of the dinners. There was plenty of food for both of us. Taco was light and crispy. Tamale had lots of meat in it. The service was spot on. Never ran out of ice tea. Food came very quickly and hot.

It's been years since I last visited Bertha Miranda's, and I was disappointed in the quality of the food. The chili relleno, rather than being a stuffed chili, was filling covered with very small chilis. Not at all what I was expecting, and far different than any chili relleno I've ever had. Won't be going back soon.

We were looking for a good restaurant for the evening's meal. The front desk at the Courtyard by Marriott gave us menus for some restaurants in the area but the menu items were not appealing and way over priced. We decided to walk around the area to see what was available. While out, we wanted to get some supplies for... More

My wife and I had lunch here. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Their coffee is excellent. I seldom like coffee at restaurants. The decor is interesting and unique. The special was chili Verde. It was prepared well but the green chilis were for little gringo girls. I prefer very hot chili. I did like that not everything had... More
