The staff was fabulous. They were very attentive. We had a large group and we were treated like royalty. The prefixed menu was great and the accommodated several of our guests who had food allergies. Wonderful!

What a beautiful restaurant! Did not have a meal here, only desserts, but they were so good! The sorbet, especially the guava and pink lemonade, were the BEST, I've ever had. The wine tower is amazing, and we were able to see the girl fly to the top and down again, hooked on a harness. So cool!

We really enjoyed this place. The menu was simple but a great variety of land, sea, & root in 4 small plates or 4 completely different entree sizes. We shared a beef & octopus dish and we had white asparagus, truffle fries, salmon and lots of good food prepared in very tasty and unique ways. My bride had some wonderful... More

Happy Hour entertainment provided by a young lady hooked into a harness who "flies" up into the 4 storey tower of wine to retrieve bottles. After a while, it gets old. During Happy Hour there is one red, one white and one sparkling wine at a special price of $9 per glass. Appetizers are excellent and a cut above the... More

Very limited menu. Seriously considered leaving due to so few options. Looking back, I wish we would have. Very bland sea bass. Poor atmosphere. Good service but just a very forgettable dinner. Very pricey for the quantity.

We did not enjoy the dinner. I don't recall what we ordered, but it was not a good value. The service was excellent.

We both enjoyed the Prix Fixe menu. Both of our filets were cooked to perfection. Prices for what we got were great, wine was great, atmosphere was great. The server seemed rushed which was strange considering we had gotten there early in the evening before they got too busy. He almost acted like we were bothering him by taking up... More

Took some associates for dinner there last night. The menu was impressive without being cumbersome and the wine list was vast. It's always interesting to watch the women in silver suits go searching for your. Little of wine in their climbing harnesses. I had the lamb as my main and it was as good as any NZ lamb I have... Description
Although it's the largest city founded in the 20th Century, Las Vegas retains the energy of a frontier town where the unexpected is still a daily occurrence. The dining scene is equally as adventurous and Charlie Palmer is one of its trail blazers. Sensing that Vegas was about to undergo a renaissance, Palmer made an early investment, opening Aureole in the Mandalay Bay Resort in 1999.

The show stopping menu under the direction of Executive Chef Vincent Pouessel combines the classic cuisine of Aureole with the theatricality of Las Vegas in dishes like Olive Oil Poached Oregon Petrale Sole with Truffled Brussels Sprouts and Ahi Tuna and Veal Shank "surf and turf", while a four-story, temperature controlled glass and steel wine tower-the largest in the world-houses 10,000 of Palmer's award-winning 50,000 bottle list, made accessible by an elaborate pulley system presided over by "flying wine angels" clad in black spandex Calvin Klein. After all, this is Vegas.
