Superb dinner in a great setting. A truly fine experience. Mizumi provides an upscale visit that combines great staff, great food and great decor. We were able to secure an outside table on the pagoda and with KRISTINES service had an unforgettable meal. Portions are...large and perfect for family style sharing. Each arrived individually and we were able to the enjoy evening. The Wagyu dumplings, yellowtail sushi and bone in ribeye were all fantastic. Servers were attentive. Definitely will be backMore

Seated right by the window overlooking the waterfall - what an incredible view and ambiance. My sushi and ramen were both delicious. The service was fantastic. The only negative was random people coming right next to the tables to take photos, especially with flash photography...this was quite unnecessary.More

Six of us were there for dinner and it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant dining room has a gorgeous view of a waterfall element just outdoors (it looks like people can dine outside by it (it must be enclosed somehow because it was over...100 degrees out. At any rate, our table was ready when we arrived but they were gracious about us hanging out at the bar for a pre-dinner cocktail Once at the table service was very good and our server very knowledgeable. The menu is quite extensive so we appreciated his guiding us through various courses to share and to be able to taste a variety mostly along the lines of sushi but we also had a fantastic Wagyu dish that may have been the best I've had. The Somme was also deserving of praise - he recommended 2 bottles of Sake to have as a compliment to our meals and they were spot on. It is an elegant place. Unfortunately Vegas is not always elegant. I was advised of the dress code which is pretty simple - men wear collared shirts and no shorts, ripped jeans or unclosed shoes. People still didn't get it. I wish places would enforce their dress codes - especially when they aren't that much to enforce. I'm not blaming the restaurant here I just saw a "0" star rating from someone who did not even eat there...More

It is not just a meal but an experience. We will remember that night that we shared with friends. Thanks for making it special! The sushi is beyond compare. The food looks as good as it tastes. Highly recommend!

0 star if I can select, this place refused my service because I did not stay at their hotel. The reason because my dressing didn’t satisfy their dress code, you can clearly see many of the sitting customers there wearing shorts and flip flops eating...with no problems. Definitely reporting to consumer affairs and bbb. Whoever experienced same treatment should open a ticket with bbb as well. Give it few more cases bbb will go after them.More

Fantastic design. Great view of a waterfall. Yes it’s a bit kitsch, but this is Las Vegas. Food very very good, and the service too. We ordered waaaay too much, but the server did not guide us well on this. Great pics.

This is my second time coming here to this restaurant located in the wynn hotel in las vegas Nevada . The food is totally amazing I mean everything is good We ordered a bunch of stuff so that we could try a lot of the...things on the menu also when you go in there's a big waterfall right outside and you can see it throughout the whole dining room inside and the customer service is outstanding. The dress code is business casual. if you're not dressed properly they will not serve you. Think upscale. I will definitely be back when Im here visiting.More

I do not recommend the food. If I can rate it a zero star. I would. It doesn’t taste as good as other sushi places I have been too. People are hyping up about this place but it is not at all. The menu was...not the same as it was posted online. They had less option on their physical menu than what was posted online. Plates are small and if you think it is sharable… it is not. You will be hungry and will have to order more. Not worth the price. We did it just for our friend’s birthday. Since she want to go here for her birthday celebration. It was our first time. We read a lot of review about it before we went. The review was good. But not the experience we had. If you want to come here. It’s more for the scenery of the waterfall and photos. We had a rude Asian male (probably a manager) that was rude to us over a $14 soufflé… we were taking pictures near the waterfall and he came to tell us our desert is ready and it’s going bad if we don’t go eat right now. Really?? Come on… over a soufflé desert??? It’s $14… if it goes bad, your Restuarant can’t afford to re-make another one? How rude!!! We were spending over $600 for our bill for four people and this is the service we get?? Never coming to this place or recommending it to our family and friends. The only thing that was good was our server. She was great, patient, super friendly and made us feel comfortable.More

Check-in ( 4 / 5 ): We checked-in 10 minutes early for a 7:00 pm dinner reservation. Our table/grill was ready and was seated promptly. We were told another couple was joining us but they never showed up after waiting for 10 minutes. Table and...Ambiance ( 5 / 5 ): We had the entire teppanyaki grill to ourselves! The room looks out to a Japanese garden with a cascading waterfall and surrounded by an idyllic koi pond. The view was even stunning at night offering a relaxing atmosphere. Wait Staff ( 3 / 5 ): The wait staff was outstanding but the teppanyaki chef was a disappointment. We were hoping to see some “action” but only saw the routine flaming onion volcano and fried rice heartbeat. How bad was the performance? The chef tried to do the egg toss spatula trick and failed – twice! There was also only trivial conversation between us and the chef. Food and Drink ( 4.2 / 5 ): In addition to the teppanyaki menu, we also ordered a specialty sushi roll, the revitalizing Botanical Garden mocktail for me and the Burnt Old Fashioned cocktail made with Japanese whisky and garnished with a thin slice of dragon fruit for my husband. Sakizuke/Shun no Zensai/Agemono: The cold, seasonal and hot appetizers were served together on a wooden platter. It consisted of the very refreshing yellowtail carpaccio with ponzu gel and crispy shallots, the beautifully presented boiled tiger prawn with hollandaise sauce and roasted macadamia nuts, and the not so spicy deep fried wagyu gyoza. Additional Order – Scallop Tataki and Crispy Shrimp Roll: The seared scallop and crunchy shrimp was wrapped with thinly sliced cucumber. We ordered this as filler between the appetizers and the entrée but it disappeared quickly because it was delicious. Vegetables and Garlic Fried Rice: The vegetables were part of the flaming onion volcano trick. It was seasoned well but the portion size was bigger than what we would have preferred. The fried rice was tasty but again it was too much for a couple trying to reduce their carbohydrate intake. Entrée – Seafood Trio and Hokkaido Snow Beef: I ordered the trio of sea bass, shrimp and scallops. They were cooked properly using rice wine and soy sauce. My husband ordered the snow beef and they were cooked medium rare with only salt and pepper as seasoning. Hands down this was the best dish of the night. Dessert – Matcha Macaron Sandwich? We don’t recall seeing the dessert listed on the menu but they were raspberry and mochi sandwiched in between two oversize green tea macarons. It was not sweet but an excellent way to end dinner. Overall, we give this dining experience, 4 stars out of 5. Will we dine here again? Probably – we will try the main dining room next time.More

The food and service were wonderful. The ambience was lively and colorful. We have an amazing waiter who gave us great suggestions. The reason why I am giving this 3 stars is that the food was rushed. Japanese food of this caliber should be savored...course by course but instead it was hurriedly laid on the table and we were unable to appreciate the beauty and effort of the food that was prepared by the chef. Food like this needs to be savored by the 5 senses and when it’s all piled on the table quickly like a conveyor belt, then that is all lost. We thought we would be there for an hour and a half but instead we were in and out in just 45 mins. For that price point, it seems like fast food. We have eaten cuisine like this in Japan, Singapore, New York and at Japanese Michelin star restaurants and never rushed. Note to restaurant, slow down so that the guests can fully enjoy and appreciate the beautiful food.More
