Walking in this restaurant, immediately, you are assailed by the smell of corn tortillas. Love it. Order tapas that can be shared. Ones we liked were the asian dumplings, and Posole. The server said the fried rice is a signature dish. We thought it was good, but not memorable. Tried the short rib tacos. Mixed reviews, I thought the meat... More

Who knew Chinese and Mexican fusion was a thing?! We are here twice during our stay at The Cosmo, the food was delicious. Tacos were to die for. We love dining in restaurants with "small plate" menus. We had to stop ourselves from raking up a hefty bill as we just wanted to keep on ordering more and more food!... More

This is a unique place that serves both Mexican and Asian food. This is not a fusion restaurant, it simply serves both cuisines. We had eat lunch here three times over a four day stay at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. The food is very good, prices are par for the mid-strip, and the staff was very friendly.

Like everything else in the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino in Vegas, this place was different, almost wierd. Order tacos or din sum from the same menu. I had hot and sour soup while my wife had Pozole. She had Chicharrones and I had Ants on a tree (glass noodles with sesame seeds). And it was all very good.

We decided to try China Poblano while in Vegas. We were prepared for expensive, but the portion sizes were smaller than I expected. I did not enjoy the Lucky 6 siu mai. I've had my share of siu mai and these were not worth it. The pork buns were luscious, the tacos were tasty. The tableside guacamole was very nice.... More

A surprising mix of chinese and exican food you can share ... It may sound weird but it goes well together!!! You must have the guacamole ... made right at your table to order ... it's fabulously delicious!!!!!

We have eaten several times at chef Jose Andres' restaurants, including his ultra high end 'e.' Mexican and Chinese just didn't seem to fit, but it was a delight. We started with a beef and kumamoto oyster taco (Vive China), which was quite delicious. Following this we had, in succession, dim sum bites of steamed buns (Golden Pigs and When... More

Jose Andres was on our bucket list for food experiences. The Mexican food (4 star), the drinks and our server were fabulous. The “Chinese” and Asian food (2-3 star) on the menu are far from authentic or even worthy of a Jose Andres restaurant. Our server, Kevin, was the model of a perfect server; kind, gave us enough space to... More
