Like everything else in the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino in Vegas, this place was different, almost wierd. Order tacos or din sum from the same menu. I had hot and sour soup while my wife had Pozole. She had Chicharrones and I had Ants on a tree (glass noodles with sesame seeds). And it was all very good.

We decided to try China Poblano while in Vegas. We were prepared for expensive, but the portion sizes were smaller than I expected. I did not enjoy the Lucky 6 siu mai. I've had my share of siu mai and these were not worth it. The pork buns were luscious, the tacos were tasty. The tableside guacamole was very nice.... More

A surprising mix of chinese and exican food you can share ... It may sound weird but it goes well together!!! You must have the guacamole ... made right at your table to order ... it's fabulously delicious!!!!!

We have eaten several times at chef Jose Andres' restaurants, including his ultra high end 'e.' Mexican and Chinese just didn't seem to fit, but it was a delight. We started with a beef and kumamoto oyster taco (Vive China), which was quite delicious. Following this we had, in succession, dim sum bites of steamed buns (Golden Pigs and When... More

Jose Andres was on our bucket list for food experiences. The Mexican food (4 star), the drinks and our server were fabulous. The “Chinese” and Asian food (2-3 star) on the menu are far from authentic or even worthy of a Jose Andres restaurant. Our server, Kevin, was the model of a perfect server; kind, gave us enough space to... More

To be honest we were a little bit more liquid than solid by the time we rolled up to the restaurant. So the details are a little sketchy but one thing that does stick in our heads was the quality of the food and, in particular, the vegetable fried rice with chicken. We were actually yumming and mmming all the... More

So, in between fast food favorites (like Secret Pizza) and fine dining (like Nobu, Prime, etc.), you have Cosmo's version of a "Friday's" on steroids. My wife and I slipped in here for a quick meal, but we had no idea how good this was going to be. Since had eaten Mexican food earlier in the day, we only ordered... More

Went here on a whim. Did not look that interesting compared to other Vegas restaurants... until we tried the tacos. I have never been into tacos much, but damn! Duck tongue and fresh lychee, baby pig and pork cracklins, crispy beef tendon and oyster, beef tongue. All sound weird, but SO GOOD! Must. Have. More. Tacos. Also, the dan dan... More

Hi Nathan. Thank you for such a lovely review. We love that you came in expecting one thing, and were blown away with our offerings. If there's one thing we take seriously it's tacos (and noodles). We hope to have you back in the future and thanks again! More

Wasn't sure what to expect but thought we'd give it a go, The waiter talked us through the menu, gave us some suggestions making it easy for us. We ordered pork tacos, tamale, guacamole and, the star of the show, pork buns. Oh the pork buns had us fighting over the last one. Why fight when you can order more.... More

A recommendation from a local in Vegas for this restaurant in the Cosmopolitan hotel which we didn't find the easiest to locate but was worth it. Food was tasty and the tasting menu at $55 was good value and food just kept coming. Also tied the salt air margarita which was great. Would recommend.
