Just finished a solo lunch at Border Grill - staff was very pleasant and courteous. Chips and salsa were brought to the table. The chips were warm and quite yummy, the trio of salsas were rather underwhelming - the best of the three was the chipotle - all three could have used some spice. As a starter, I ordered the... Enjoyed lunch here on the patio. The chips are made fresh and they are excellent. The guac is also very good. Had the fish tacos and was not disappointed, they were very good. Food was fresh and service was good.

We have eaten here several times in the past. BG is always enjoyable. The quality is good but the prices are high, especially for lunch. A decent lunch with a drink each is almost $100 after tip. Great location with outside seating by the Mandalay Pool. Staff is friendly.

In a town that's full of food that I can only characterize as slop on a plate, I was so pleasantly surprised by this off-the-beaten-path restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is great, but the food - OH! The food!!! Wonderful. Great portions. Fresh ingredients; light, but filling; and flavors and textures that soar high above your usual tortillas... More

Sunday brunch here was our best meal in Vegas during our trip. All you can eat small plates. A lot of selections and variety of types of food. Every plate total gourmet. A must do on the weekend.

We had never been there so we thought we would try it for lunch. The food was amazing and we went back later in the day for their awesome tres leches cake, well worth the visit and not too expensive.

The food and service were excellent. We have been many times and always get a place outside on porch to eat. In winter they have heaters. No complaints. HOWEVER, this time they couldn't accommodate us for outdoor seating. The indoor air temperature was so cold. We spoke to our terrific waiter about it. There were six in our party. We... More

Description
Welcome to Border Grill, Las Vegas' destination restaurant overlooking the Lazy River just off Mandalay Beach, where Chefs Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger, Bravo's "Top Chef Masters" and Food Network's "Too Hot Tamales," want nothing more than to spice up your day. With two floors of patio dining, and a beautiful outdoor bar, it's the perfect setting for sipping margaritas and savoring the bold flavors of Mexico while enjoying views of the beach and pool. Border Grill Las Vegas is located in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. There's so much to do at Mandalay Bay. The Shark Reef, right next door to the restaurant, features sharks of all kinds, as well as a slew of exotic, predatory marine life. Stop by for fish tacos after and have the last word in the food chain.
