It was so hard deciding what to order, I could have tried everything. Our cocktails were yummy, service was great, and our meal was so good! We ordered a small plate of BBQ'd sea bass over a shiitake and seaweed and pork dumplings. The fish...More

The Tao Restaurant and Nightclub is located in the Grand canal shops in the Venetian hotel. It serves very good Asian food and the atmosphere is very romantic.

We realize that security have a tough job and have to be stern. That said, we went as a bachelorette party of 10 with guest list and the bouncers (one in particular) were unnecessarily rude and condescending. One of the girls had a cold and...More

The setting feels intimate even though there are dozens of people around you. The DJ playing music kept it at a perfect level and with a variety of music. The service was attentive and patient. The food was amazing! We liked everything we ordered.

It was one of the most beautiful restaurants I have been to but the food was just average. Though the food selections were plentiful and freshly creative, the taste was lacking for me. Service was excellent though but I'd expect nothing less from a well...More

If you like asian food this is your place in Vegas. Ask for Shabu shabu and you will not be disappointed, excellent service, energetic atmosphere. Expensive but it worth it.

We had a large table of 12, the service was spot on, the food arrived promptly. If your after a quiet meal this isn't the place, but the atmosphere was great, and the food was fantastic.

The menu doesn't have gluten free options. I have the same problem so I stuck to sushi and sashimi but I brought my own Tamari packs. I'm sure if you asked the chef for a special dish without soy sauce or other gluten they... More

Description
Guests are transported from the City of Sin to the Pacific Rim inside TAO Asian Bistro, a 44,000 square-foot, multi-story “Asian City” housing a restaurant, banquet facilities, lounge and nightclub. Lush velvets and silks, waterfalls and century-old woods and stones accentuate the experience, and the restaurant’s signature 20-foot Buddha watches over every corner of the restaurant while floating peacefully above an infinity pool complete with Japanese koi. Corporate Executive Chef Ralph Scamardella has developed a menu for the 400-seat restaurant by incorporating culinary components from China, Japan and Thailand. Signature dishes include offerings from sea, sky and land including Chilean Sea Bass Satay with Wok Roasted Asparagus, a preparation of Peking Duck that consistently receives accolades, and Kobe Beef Shabu Shabu along with a full sushi bar.
