It is hard to find but it is great pastries. It is worth taking the time to seek out. A great place to buy some breakfast or snacks and go to the lake for a picnic. I will try his lunches next time.

I loved Ernie's international pastries. It was recommended to my family by a friend, and my mom went there to pick up some marzipan. Ernie began telling us some stories, and we left three hours later, stuffed on delicious cookies.

For a taste of old world Europe, this is the place to go. It is not easy to find -- go to the backside of the shopping center

Ernie's has wonderful pastries and an interesting baker and person. Run by Ernie and his wife we can only hope he's around for a long time but know time is running out - Ernie is now in his 90's.

Ernie has been running his little pastry shop for decades. He's wonderful to chat with, while tasting a slice of apple strudel. Give Ernie's a try!

Ernie's has been a stop for us for the past 10 years when we stay at the nearby Hyatt. His little bakery turns out classic European pastries that are decadently delicious.

I discovered Ernie's in 2012 when I first began as Artistic Director of Classical Tahoe. It is my first stop when I return to Incline each summer. The apple and cherry strudel is simply the finest I have ever tasted.

Hidden gem. Find it and be happy! Ernie is a treasure. Local kids head here after school to get cookies. Google him. Be prepared to learn a lot.

Go for the pastries, stay for the conversation. Ernie is a great old man willing to chat with anyone. It's worth the trip just to hear his amazing story. Have a pastrami sandwich, but try not to look around too much. This place is like a combination history professor office/grandmas kitchen/autoshop.

A friend read about this place in the newspaper in Las Vegas. Ernie is an amazing man and he can really bake. His specialty is the poppie strudle. The eclair was out of this world. Make sure you try this place when in the area.
