What an amazing job Chef David has done in bringing back this iconic restaurant in Incline Village. By far this is once again the best restaurant in the area. We were 6, and all had the prix fixe menu - 5 courses. While we chose many different items, the results were all 5 stars. My Dungeness crab starter was incredible,... More

Superb and tasty five course fix priced dinner. We added excellent wine pairings. Each course was just the right amount of food, not huge servings that are unrealistic, nor the tiny insulting serving as you sometimes get with a restaurant that thinks too highly of itself. Friendly host and server, with natural conversation and interaction. Closed for two months in... More

Highlight of regular skiing in Lake Tahoe are dinners at Le Bistro. We were told they closed. Family is sad as this is our favorite "treat" restaurant. One of our twins walks over to see what's being done with the space. He see's longtime mgr David sitting inside on his phone. He goes in and finds out David and his... More

Wonderful experience. One of our nicer experiences in the Tahoe area. Unfortunately, after 25 years the owners are retiring and will close in mid Oct. If your in the Tahoe area Le Bistro won't disappoint you.

Wonderful meal and experience. Highly recommend Chef Jean Pierre. My favorite is the soup, lamb, dessert and wine pairing.

A great French restaurant with a fixed price 5 course menu. There are enough choices that should satisfy anyone. The food is great!

We have been coming to Le Bistro for eight years or so and made a special trip up here just so we could dine here one last time. Okay, three last times. It's that good. They offer a chef's tasting menu. Food is inventive and exquisitely prepared. The wine parings are excellent. The service is top notch. Hurry up and... More

Wow, the fixed price menu is fabulous and quite a value at $60.00 a person for a five course meal. The course change often enough so it's a new experience if you go back every couple of weeks. The ambience is warm and cozy. It's a small place and you must have reservations.

Prefix menu.... Lots of choices to meet every taste, dietary restriction and preferences. Posted a picture of the menu from the day of our visit - changes daily. Old world charm with excellent modern cuisine. Very nice wine list with very affordable bottle prices... in many cases appeared to be 2X retail as opposed to most restaurants at 3X or... More

It’s hidden behind other cafes and restaurants and kind of hard to find for the first time. We walked in not through the main entrance but from the back door or something – the hostess who was the waitress and probably the owner too was really surprised. It’s a pretty tiny place, they have only one main dining room with... More
