Old, tired restaurant. Tried on encouragement from staff. Food was below average. Had the special Big dipper sandwich and it tasted like 3 day old sliced beef.

Food and service were very good. Bartender had to "look up" how to make drinks, but still couldn't make a Brandy Old-Fashion Sweet, settled for a glass of wine.

Good food at a good price, we had dinner and breakfast there. Both were very good. Service was great at dinner, but not so good at breakfast.

This used to be THE place to stay, do livestock business, drink and eat. The huge polar bear was a local landmark. It was in its hayday from 1950 to 1980 and now it's just a sad reminder of the livestock hayday. I stayed here...More
