The dining room was clean and the salad bar was easy to get to. The menu had a good selection of food. The wait staff was OK, but experienced trouble multi-tasking when waiting on more than one table...resulting in slow service. The food was warm by the time it arrived at our table.

Restaurant was nice and food was above average for west yellowstone. Waitress was very kind and plenty of options on menu.

Fun place in West Yellowstone. Be sure to check out the three stuffed bears. Service was very good. We ate there for dinner. Food was OK but not something to text someone right away about. We heard breakfast was good.

Our breakfast was not hot which was disappointing since we did not have that problem in the winter when we ate there everyday for a week. We had 2 dinners--one as a group of 5 and one with 14. We appreciate their willingness to give separate checks. Salmon was so-so, steak was good. Chicken salad was good, but gad a... More

My party of 6 had 4 different meals and no one was thrilled with their food, although it wasn't bad either... just average, and a bit pricey. The two who ate the soup bar said it was OK, but there were only 2 varieties and they were similar.

West Yellowstone is not really a restaurant mecca. We were there 5 nights and we kind of wandered around the last night and saw their menu and decided to go on. They were having a bison stew special which we both had and enjoyed. It was served in a bread bowl (also available gluten free!) and included a trip to... More

We ate there twice the salad bar and homemade soups were good. Nice choice of meals and the serve was fine. Having the option for wild meat entrees was interesting.

The Three Bears Resturant was the worst place I ate in during a three week driving holiday in the USA. Guess I should have spotted the signs when I was told the table would 20 mins and the place wasn't full. Went to the bar for a beer, the surly barman just grunted and plonked a beer list on the... Dear Valued Guest, I am so very sorry that you did not enjoy your experience at the restaurant. In response to your discontent with the wait time I can completely understand. Being a town of only 1,200 and staffed with mainly students, the month of October is a difficult and short staffed one at the Three Bear Restaurant. With a... More

The food here was just okay- bison tips were tender. The trout stuffed with crabmeat was awful- terribly salty stuffing. When we informed the waitress (after the meal), there was no offer of subsitute or price reduction.

Excellent food, great salad bar but be warned, the pot roast is drowned in gravy. Popular so get their early to be seated and served.

Thank Barbara J
