We stopped one evening while staying in West Yellowstone to get ice cream. My son had a very good chocolate malt. This is the place to get ice cream, since it is homemade!

What a wonderful surprise in West Yellowstone! I have to admit that we have a traditional place to get our ice cream, but it was closed for renovation. When we came across the long line outside of this place, we immediately were curious and lined up with everyone else. By the time we got close enough to see the menu,... More

Stopped on for ice cream because sign said "homemade", we were not disappointed! I had Peach and husband had chocolate, both were great! We will return, much better than the Wilcoxson's served everywhere else in town.

While shopping we asked about a good place to eat ice cream and this is the place. Five orders and all were good. I had a taste for a caramel shake. It was wonderful. Everyone was happy. I would highly recommend this homemade ice cream establishment!

While waking around W. Yellowstone after a day in the park, we came across City Creamery. Home made ice cream, yum. Had the Huckleberry, it was Great! While waiting on order couldn't help but notice the old time ice maker, reminded me of the old hand crank one we had when I was a kid.

Stopped for dessert here after eating at Bullwinkles. I had one scoop of coffee ice cream (it was horrible - gritty and not smooth) and one scoop of chocolate (it was ok). Hubby had Almond Crunch and liked it. Probably just depends on which flavor is picked as to quality and taste. Portions were very small for the money. You... More

A bit of a wait, but we'll worth it. They make the ice cream right on site. Small store with big taste.

The ice cream we ordered was grainy and icy. We had to wait 7 minutes until our order was done. My guess is we ordered the wrong flavor, most others around us seemed pleased.

You may feel it will just be another tourist town ice cream shop (overpriced and meh) but this place is NOT that spot. Delicious - we had 4 different flavor and zero complaints. Well worth the wait -- and gives you a chance to check out the ice cream maker behind the picnic tables.

We came to the Creamery after a long, hot day of traveling in Yellowstone. We ordered three milkshakes, including huckleberry with lavender, coffee, and chocolate. It took about ten minutes to get our order, but it was worth the wait. The milkshakes were creamy, cold and delicious.
