There are about a dozen or so Chinese restaurants in West Yellowstone because there are several hotels owned by CHINA and they attract a lot of Chinese tourists. The Red Lotus is a great restaurant with reasonable prices and excellent service. I had the seafood soup and it was delicious. A resident of the town recommended the Red Lotus to... More

We ordered 3 dishes here; all were good (not great) and the portions were large at a very reasonable price. This place gets very crowded though so get there early for dinner or be prepared to wait.

The place was filled with tourists so we figured it couldn't be that bad. The food actually was good. We had vegie chow mein-very good loaded with vegies but a bit greasy; two chicken dishes also were very good, and a sweet & sour soup which was ok. The food wasn't loaded with sodium which is another bonus.

We ordered take out for our extended family. The food was tasty and very economical. The portions were typical for a Chinese restaurant. The wait staff was quick and friendly.

Came in and they gave us water, short time later asked what we wanted. I then said to our waiter "You never asked what we wanted to drink." Then he told us our choices very quickly. At $10 for a glass of their cheesy wine we said no. Ordered our food and it tasted good. But the broccoli was very... More

Have had several good meals here, all during the off season when they are not busy and have time to do it right. I've also had a few not so good meals here, all when the place was busy with tour buses. If you see several tour buses outside and the place is packed, try somewhere else.

I liked the sweet and sour chicken. My wife's coconut dish was very good. The staff is friendly and the cook alway puts out great food.

The four of us were hungry for supper, we were not disappointed! The serving sizes were good. The prices were reasonable. Check it out!

If you like Chinese food don't go to this restaurant. Mongolian Beef ... Where's the beef, it's a plate full of onion with a trace amount of beef covered in hot spicy sauce. Sweet and sour chicken is a plate of battered chicken pieces with sweet and sour sauce poured over the batter. No veggies included in either dish. You... More
