Incredible, eclectic restaurant/bar in Rexford, Montana. This is definitely a beer joint type place. Burgers, chicken, steaks, shrimp and more! All are very good. The spud nuggets are great. Traveled across the border from BC and was looking for a place to eat. Customs Official recommended Frontier for Steak Sandwich and Curley Fries. He was spot on. This place has a unique atmosphere and the staff are very nice people. I have been there...a couple of times, never really busy but everything is consistent. Recommend that if in the area it is worth the drive.More
The food here is prepared well enough - they just have a very limited menu which unfortunately did not have any choices that were allowable with my dietary concerns. The service here was excellent - all staff were extremely friendly and efficient!
Where to begin? The bar is straight up unique. Cold beer? Check. Liquor? Check. Wine? Check (just be warned, wine might be served in a wine glass or it might be served in a mason jar). Try the appetizers especially the spud nuggets. Fried pickles...are good too! Menu contains steaks, burgers, fried chicken, shrimp and fish. For the brave you can have a burger made with grilled cheese sandwiches. The chicken is really good (and it’s the third best item on the menu!) second is the spud nuggets and the steaks too the list. Menu tip: the side salads keep getting better, order one as your side. The curly fries are cut fresh and a medium will be more than enough for a family. The platter will feed a large group. The food here is always great! Nothing fancy just good! If you are interested intrying something unique, have the burger wedged bewtween two hot dogs and two grilled cheese sandwhiches! Worth the photo and tasty too! $22 but it is more than enough for two...normal appetites.More
A friend and I stopped by on his suggestion. First time for me. I ordered the steak sandwich and fries. Chunk of steak was thick and made a large sandwich but was OK. Fries were also OK in the "cottage style"...potato sliced lengthwise in wedges...a...bit greasy. My friend ordered the fried chicken and enjoyed it (but needed to take some home as it was more than he could eat). Service was fair. Prices were reasonable. The only type of steak they serve is ribeye.More
Food is generally good here Most staff are pleasant. A bartender treated us poorly on our last visit. Would not wait table or serve drinks unless I walked to bar. We have not been back and probably will not. Why hire a person to serve...in your bar when they will not. Shame on Frontier.More
This rustic pub, has a ton of charm, not to mention an abundance os stuffed animals. we were a large group and the staff did a great job of seating us together. Our service was polite, friendly and efficient. The food is predominantly pub style...and most dishes spend at least some time in the deep fryer. The menu is not large but still enough choices to accommodate our large group. the food was tasty and the serving size was large. Great place to come with a group after a day on the lake.More
Service was good. Unique atmosphere with excessive and creative taxidermy. Jojo's Curly fries are worth a try. Wish I had ordered those instead of a salad. Favourite bar and restaurant in the area! Excellent and famous fried chicken, good steaks, great burgers and great atmosphere! Fun and friendly, not expensive and real Montana! Love it!
Stopped in for a bite to eat. We were told to try the fried chicken-glad we did!!! Yummmmy!!! Also, tried the catfish-WOW!!! Tasty!!! Drinks were great-our waiter was very sweet! Do stop by if you're in the area!!
My wife and I usually come here if we have something to celebrate and want a really good steak dinner. Not fancy but great food and cold beer.
