We had reserved a table here before we left the UK. It didn’t disappoint. We were upstairs which felt exclusive and nice. It’s dark and you need the candles! This restaurant does not serve spirits so we got stuck into the wine list. The food...More

We had a nice dinner here but were unable to walk in. Had to make a reservation and return but it was worth the wait. The service was good and the wine and steak were excellent. The escargot in mushroom caps were interesting but I...More

My husband and I have considered The Pearl as one of the finest in Missoula since it opened. Over the years included in our dining experiences there, we have had an informal engagement party, a dinner for my sophisticated world traveler mother, and most recently,...More

Looked interesting and close to my hotel. I was happy that the restaurant accommodated a solo traveler w/o reservation on a busy Friday night (it was packed). Excellent wine list, with many good by-the-glass offerings. Carrot-ginger soup was superb - great balance of sweet and...More

My husband and I love the Pearl. The quiet, almost European atmosphere, allows us to celebrate our lives together- and actually be able to HEAR each other. With the award-winning food presentation and service, it's easily become our favorite.

We have eaten at the Pearl Cafe on three different occasions during visits to Missoula. We have consistently been impressed by the excellent customer service and personal accommodation by Pearl, the owner. Each dish that I have had was really enjoyable like the recent wild...More

We have dined in some exceptional fine-dining restaurants, and the Pearl Cafe is one of the best. It is no surprise that the chef admires the Inn at Little Washington (one of our favorites). The service and meal were impeccable. This restaurant is worth a...More

In a nondescript storefront in a somewhat sketchy neighborhood is possibly Missoula's best restaurant. I just had a meal that would have cost $60 in Boston, for $38. Everything was just right -- food, service, ambiance. The beet soup, house-smoked trout and mushroom crepe were...More

I'd answer like the two before me, I believe so, they have just what you need and if they didn't on the menu, I'm sure if asked properly, they would accommodate anyone and actually so, just the right way, cooked apart from... More

Description
Chef-owned and operated, Pearl Cafe is an aptly named jewel of a restaurant serving regional cuisine with a country French accent. The massive beams and peach toned bricks of the historic warehouse provide a warm and inviting atmosphere. Specialties include bison with huckleberry-zinfandel sauce, duckling with dried cherries and pomegranate sauce and beef tenderloin with port and Roquefort. Fresh fish dishes change daily and local products are used whenever possible. The menu is rounded out with a variety of appetizers, soups and salads, house made bread and a list of sinfully delicious desserts. The restaurant serves wine and beer, with a list of 15 wines by the glass, local draft beer, a broad selection of half bottles and over 100 full bottles.
