As a person from and living in Cornwall...the home of the pasty. i can tell you right now what they are serving is a monstrosity! the things they are serving are poorly made pies, a more northern English food speciality. The pasty is not welsh,...More

The first pasty were cold. No problem getting new ones but how are can it be to warm up a pasty? Still a must when in Butte

I wanted to like the pasty but it rhymes with nasty and that's how it tasted. Tasteless chewy gray meat with tasteless potato in a tasteless crust drowning in a sea of dark brown gravy. NOT EDIBLE! I don't know how the locals can stand...More

We just had to try Joe's Pasty Shop while touring Butte. A pasty is a Welsh meat pie covered in gravy. It arrived hot with a side of coleslaw and was very tasty and filling. The staff at Joe's is super friendly and we had...More

I thought that I would enjoy the cocktail pasties more that I did, but they didn't all have meat in them. It's disappointing to get only potato and onions in a bite. The big pasties are ok - but the other pasty shops in Butte...More

Had my first pasty. Nice town with lots to do. Big mining town and easy to get around. Joe's retiring, better hurry!

We were looking for a good pasty in Butte and chose this place when we read it'd been around for 50 years -- we decided that was a good track record. It was great! The pasties were the perfect size and had a delicious crust....More

I bought two of their wonderful pasties to take to Washington. Only half of one made it there. They smelt so good that I kept eating. I regret nothing.

We had the pasty with gravy. It was warm and delicious. Also loved the coleslaw and blueberry pie. The place is old not overly clean but about what you would expect for a great small town local cafe. I would definitely come here again.

I don't know if Joe's ships pasties or not -- probably best to give them a call and ask.
