We eat here often. Sometimes we bring the kids. Even though it is a casino and restaurant, the food is what brings us here! The wait staff is fabulous...friendly, fast, attentive and on the ball! The food is delicious...best hash browns in town. And you...won’t believe how fast you’ll have your breakfast. The Denver omelette is our favorite...but biscuits & gravy is also a good choice.More

Never thought you could go to a casino for a good breakfast. They have a decent menu to choose from. They have a cinnamon roll that is big and tastes good as well. We forgot to ask for it heated but it was good never...the less. Portions was big. Meal tasted good. Place was clean. Wait staff was very busy trying to deal with the whole place by her self. The place does not open until (If I remember correctly) 8:00am.More

Fairly busy on a recent Sunday morning but still got waited on in a timely manner. Reasonable wait for breakfast and the prices are still a good value.

Just got back from a short quick trip to Billings, my father in law lives there and I took my wife up to spend some time with him and his wife, he suggest he and I go out for breakfast and we end up at...Montana Nugget Casino and Restaurant, it's smoke free, so we go on Friday morning, getting seated is no problem, and we order up, I was hungry for ham, waitress says the have a ham steak special that morning so ordered it, it was cut long and narrow like a New York Strip steak, but the thickness was what impressed me it was easy an 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" thick, as much as I like my ham I could not finish it! The wait staff was friendly and gave the best of service, I don't remember seeing anybody looking for a waitress for a coffee refill, they were always right there, it's for sure a neighborhood place for sure., father in law who's near 90 even ran in to an old high school friendMore

Some members of our extended family had dinner at Montana Nugget Casino recently. We go there because the food is reasonably priced, it is mostly family friendly (the restaurant & casino are combined), and the food is usually very good. However, our recent visit left...us disappointed in their food quality. All but one of us at the table ordered their fried shrimp special. There are six large shrimp served with vegetables and a side of potatoes, and soup or salad. Our salads were served and we were not completed eating them when our entrees were served. Our entrees all arrived at the same time and the food was hot. But, this time the shrimp did not look the same. There may be a different cook or a different recipe, but the batter was not as crispy, had a much different texture, and it was soaked with cooking oil. All the shrimp plates were the same and all those who ordered it had the same comment - It was dripping oil and the flavor was not what we were used to at this restaurant. Our server was nice and efficient. Maybe a bit too efficient because our entrees were served before our salad course was done. That is more likely due to preparing the entrees too soon. Better to serve them while they are hot, than to wait till the salad is done and have them served cold. The server kept our glasses filled and cleared our table as needed. She was friendly and helpful. I rate this visit to Montana Nugget Casino as a 3 for food and a 4 for service. Overall I give it a 3 because the food quality is not what we have come to expect from this restaurant.More

Our extended family eats at Montana Nugget Casino every few months, usually on a Thursday night when the restaurant has the fried shrimp special. This visit was a similar one as previous except that no one ordered the shrimp this time. We are always accommodated...at MNC with a friendly host/server who is cheerful in our request to combine two tables to seat all 10 of us. We rarely have alcoholic drinks, sometimes a soft drink, usually just water. Nor do we spend any time at the gambling machines. Still, the servers are always friendly and helpful. We are never rushed to complete our dinners so that they can "turn over" the table. This last dinner I just ordered a burger. It was a typical hamburger so nothing special to write about. Several people ordered the turkey dinner which is a huge slice of real turkey meat (not processed), mashed potatoes and gravy. All those who had it said it was delicious. One person had the fish & chips and said it was good. The servings are always more than enough. Most in our group ask for a small "take home" box which is cheerfully provided. This particular meal our server seemed really inattentive. She rarely returned to our table to check on how things were going. We had asked for a desert cinnamon roll to split. It didn't come. We asked again, it still didn't come. Finally, we gave up on desert and decided to wait for our check. It didn't come. We waited for probably 20 minutes to get our check. It still didn't come. Finally, one of our party had to walk to the server's pay station to pay the bill. Another thing I did not like during this visit is that one of the servers was smoking cigarettes with her boyfriend right out side the door rather than in the slightly distant smoker's kiosk. The kiosk was in the sun and she decided to smoke in the shade next to the building but that meant we, as customers, had to walk through the "smoker's gauntlet" as we entered. This visit could have been better. If this weren't the place preferred by some of our extended family members, I would not eat here.More
