It is a bar with a character. Smells like alcohol as I walked in! I had the hummus platter and the veggie burger. I recommend they do something with the bok choi as I was afraid to eat it - did not appear to be totally clean. Perhaps it should be lightly sauted as I did not know why I... More

Great beer selection and assortment of bar food. Pho, burgers, meat loaf, and Thai sandwich were for dinner. Bit load, booths are a bit tight for adults.

We walked into this crowded ski bar in Big Sky and were lucky to get a table for 5, without a reservation. The food was excellent and the music was loud but friendly!!!! My husband had a jerk shrimp appetizer that was unbelievably good and a great hamburger with potato tots. This bar is the most reasonable place in town... More

A group of 6 of us went looking for a place to eat after getting our ski equipment and lucked upon Scissorbills. It was our travel day in and we were looking for convenience more than anything else and we left feeling like we had struck gold. This is not simply bar food, it has those elements, but it is... Ok, I remember a much newer place from the 1980's, but thought we would try SB's for supper after the ski hills closed for the day, on a Friday. The waitress was working with a bandaided hand, somewhat off-putting. Standard fried and grilled fare, and nothing to write about here. The place was hard used in the past and needs... More

The food was good and so was the service, but discovered an extra $2 for the fries with my burger. Apparently the sandwiches and burgers come with Fritos-Can you imagine that? It's not like this was an inexpensive burger. (Well, maybe it was by Big Sky standards...?) Seems a little Un-American to charge for fries with a burger:)

Hello, thanks for stopping by. I am sorry that the extra charge was unappealing to you. The upcharge is clearly listed on the menu and they charge extra for fries at our largest American burger chains. We take pride in the freshness of our food and the quality as well. Most of what we have there is homemade and that... More

Big sky is pretty quiet in September so not much open. We happened upon this place and it was a great find. Bartender/waiter greeted us immediately. We all ordered the chicken avocado sandwich which was huge and very tasty. It came with a choice of fries, tater tots, a salad or Fritos. The salad was nice and cold. Two gals... More

This is the last "liftie" bar in Big Sky - an endearing term for where the lift operators go for a beer after work. All the other bars in Big Sky have gone high-end with foofy drinks and expensive prices. It is a resort town, so all places charge more than they would if it were not a resort town.... More

Soooo. As a Bozeman native and someone who plans to buy a house in Big Sky this place stung a bit as we treated, or tried to treat a friend to a taste of the Big Sky. We got here about an hour and forty five minutes ago. Sat down and waited for 10 minutes before asking the bartender if... More

I apologize for the many things that went wrong with your visit the other night. There is no one other than me to blame. We messed up. I was not there but watched the event unfold on my cameras. Before this review came in I had already started the process to fix what I witnessed. All I can do at... More
