Every city has them. All the locals know. Tourists hear about them from cabbies. The Broadway Oyster Bar (BOB) is one of those places.Don't go looking for atmosphere, although you will find some excellent live music. Don't expect exquisite service. What you will get is...More

BOB is more of a Cajun Restaurant than an Oyster Bar. It does not feature an extensive menu of Oysters. Of what was available, the Char-grilled were best. The Cajun menu captures all of the NOLA standards with some variants. I thought the dishes were...More

Thank you for coming to BOB and for taking the time to write a review for us. We are actually a Cajun/Creole and seafood restaurant. We always have a minimum of 2 kinds of raw oysters as well as 9 other oyster dishes such as...More

We were recently in this restaurant, because it came highly recommended by so many we talked to, but we weren't overwhelmed. I will say that most of our party did not like spicy food, and we didn't realize that almost everything on the menu was...More

Sorry we were just OK for you and the rest of your party. We have always said that BOB is not for everyone and if no one in your group is a fan of spicy food that may be a problem. Spicy Cajun/Creole and seafood...More

We came for oysters but found their prices too high for our likes. But in fairness we come from a place where oysters grow locally and are only hours fresh. We ordered crawfish two ways and we're pleased. My bucket was far plentiful and in...More

Thank you for seeing beyond our old, funky exterior and for coming inside to find THE REAL BOB! Our original buildings were built in 1843 and 1900 and our theme is Louisiana fish shack so guests can get an idea of what we are all...More

Ho. ly. Great food--Batman! Been to N'awlins? Yeah. Just step on in to Broadway Oyster Bar and you've taken a 500 mile trip in 2.5 seconds. Went here before a baseball game with family (11 in all), and no one left hungry or saying their...More

We had a party of eleven and we're sat as soon as we walked in. They do not do reservations, but if you call ahead, they will do preferred seating. Give that a shot before just showing us with that many.
