We've been to St.Louis many many times but never here. So glad our friends took us. I had the Blackened Ahi Tuna.... Fabulous!!! At our table Oysters, Crawfish Mac N Cheese, Lobster Poyboy and Andouille sausage sandwich. All very good. This place makes it easy to have a good time with great food and cocktails. Live music most days but... More

Broadway Oyster Bar is one of my St. Louis favorites! i truly appreciate it now that I live on the East coast. Hurricanes, baked oysters, Voodoo shrimp. Yum! It's like a little piece of NOLA landed in STL. Absolutely love it. Friendly environment. Consistently excellent service. Great blues music in the evenings. What more can you ask for!? Side note:... We are honored to read that BOB is one of your "St. Louis favorites" even though you no longer live in the area. As always, we love the comparison to NOLA because we try to bring a bit of that Southern hospitality, service, food, drink and live music to our guests right here in the Midwest. Thank you for visiting... More

This is a great stop before / after a Cardinal game or just because. The music is a blast and very casual. Everyone is happy here. I love their oysters and their staff is super friendly.

We really like that "just because" reason for visiting BOB! Before or after Cardinal games is always a popular time but many guests come to BOB for lots of different reasons. Some like to come in the winter when it is less busy and sit by the fireplace. Some come in just to hear that live music 7 nights a... More

I was lucky to travel to a lot of places this year, and eat in a lot of places. This was my number 1 for 2016. Great food, great service, good value, great atmosphere, great live music.Dont often have cause to go to St. Louis, but have actually tried to think of reasons to just so I could go back... More

The building is a cool old shack , they were very busy. Everyone said this is where we should go eat while in St. Louis. Food was great, homemade tartar sauce was amazing!! Server was pretty good. Would go back!

The dining room building dates back to 1843 and the inside bar was added in 1900 so old shack is a good description for us, even though our kitchen is brand new and state of the art. Everything we serve, including tartar sauce as you noted, is made in house and is designed to have FLAVOR and a lot of... More

The menu appeared to be quite complete with a good variety of seafood appetizers and entrees. The server was attentive and gave good service. The servings were plentiful and enough for a take home.

Thank you for visiting BOB and for the outstanding review. We are pretty "unique" and "off the wall" so that is certainly accurate! We do offer live music 7 nights a week and twice on everyday except Friday. The only correction to your review is that we do not book jazz bands but do book blues, rock, funk, reggae, jam... More

As a St. Louis native who loves cajun food, this is the number one place in St. Louis to find it. They often have crawfish boil events or weekend specials and that is my absolute favorite time to go eat here. It is great for food and drinks before and after a ball game. It is also a great live... We are honored to be your #1 spot in St. Louis for Cajun/ Creole food! Our monthly food festivals are a lot of folks' favorite times to come to BOB and we love doing them for our guests.
