My friends and I were in Osage Beach over Veterans Day weekend and had dinner at Mamacita’s based on its Google reviews. What a GREAT choice! From the moment we entered, we had a wonderful experience. We were warmly greeted, and everyone on staff was...very friendly and hospitable. We were seated immediately and served chips and dip by a very nice gentleman, and then our waitress, Hailee, came over right away and took our order for drinks and appetizers (a serving of guacamole dip, please!). We had time to study the menu, and she was back quickly to take our food order. Hailee was on-the-spot all evening, stopping by to check if we needed anything and were enjoying our food. And, YES, we enjoyed our food! Everything was so yummy!! I had the chicken chimichanga (and a house margarita—fantastic!), and my friends had the veggie fajita and veggie burrito. Everything was SO delicious, and we finished it all—no leftovers! It was so nice to find a restaurant on a holiday weekend that was so welcoming and didn’t have a long wait to be seated. We had a fabulous time and will be back the next time we’re at the Lake of the Ozarks!More

Outstanding!

My husband and I were away to Osage Beach for a getaway for a few days just last week (May 2021). We had lunch here on Cinco de Mayo and it was fabulous. I was a bit worried because they were extremely crowded, but we...were seated in less than 5 minutes, had our appetizer and drinks in about another 10 minutes, and our food was out to us in under 25 minutes. It was fabulous and the queso is the best I have ever had! Would highly recommend this place for the value, service, and great food!More

Good Food

Came with a group of friends on a Tuesday night around 8pm. There was a bunch of people leaving as we walked in and only one other table occupied inside. Service was quick and the restaurant was pretty clean. The tacos and salsa were great....Most of my group wasn’t a fan of the chips though - too thick. I was extremely disappointed with the jalapeño margarita I got. It tasted like jalapeños and their juice was shaken up and poured in a cup with little margarita mix. For $14 (that wasn’t even the jumbo) I was expecting a tasty and well crafted cocktail and that’s not what I got. We all got tacos and everyone enjoyed them. The street tacos were a hit. I would eat here again and recommend to others.More

Out standing

My family and I are from out of town and when we come to visit family, we can’t wait to go eat at Mama Cita’s Mexican Cantina. Our server Karen was the best. She met all our needs and wants. Very knowledgeable with anyone who...has a gluten intolerance. Food is always hot and fresh. Restaurant is always clean and everyone is friendly. Can’t wait to go back.More

Great Experience!

Joanna was an AMAZING server!!! We came in hungry and thirsty after a day on the water, and she was SUPER attentive! Multiple chips/salsa refills, and drink refills - she was ON IT! The food was great, and the atmosphere was fun! A+ y’all!

Great Mexican Place!

The food was great, and the service was even better. Enrique was our server and his recommendations were great, and he was so attentive and genuinely nice. Overall, definitely a good place for Mexican food in the Ozarks.

Mama's doing it right in the neighborhood

We had a taste for Mexican and chose Mama Cita's on a Tuesday for dinner. We are sure glad we did. Our waitress Haley was excellent and the food, atmosphere and prices were all very good. I chose the Tuesday special of 2 beef tacos...served with beans and rice for $9.99. We all had various large Margheritas for under $15 each. Overall it was an enjoyable dinner out.More

Excellent food, margs and service

We had tasty drinks and snacks at the bar at Mama Cita's. Do yourself a favor and get the tableside guacamole with a jalapeno margarita! The salsa was good as well. Thanks to our bartender, Enrique for the good drinks and conversation!!! :-)

Lunch at the Lake

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch with girlfriends here. Everything was great from the freshly made chips & salsa to the fantastic margaritas and the food was amazing! The Mahi tacos were some of the best I've had! Enrique was amazing as our server and Angie was...a great bartender! Highly recommend this place!More

That ceviche though!!

Rodrigo was our bartender and he didn’t miss a beat!! It was a holiday weekend and they were fully staffed! Perfect margaritas and some of the best ceviche we have ever had. We will definitely be back!!

Outstanding menu; excellent food and service.

We come here often and the food, environment, and service is consistently excellent. Enrique was our server this time. His service to us was excellent and friendly as he multi-tasked during a very full house. CiTa's never disappoints.

Amazing Food Amazing Service

What an amazing place!! From the minute we sat at the bar the service was outstanding. Our Bartender Rodrigo went above and beyond to cater quality service and had the most amazing personality. He made us feel welcome. I always judge a Mexican Restaurant by...the Salsa, the margaritas, and the quality of the food. Hands down this place check every single box and more. I had the freshest margarita which was just perfect. The ceviche appetizer was fresh and full of flavor also a very good portion size to share. The shrimp tacos with the homemade tortillas were just perfection and full of flavor. Rodrigo was super helpful when suggesting places to visit in the town since this was our first time visiting. I have already recommended this place to my friends that live close by, but I can't wait to treat myself again to such of good quality food and the amazing service they provide.
