We went there twice, breakfast and lunch while in KC recently. My wife is vegan and they have several options as well as being open to leaving certain things off the dish. Great service and friendly. We went back in the evening and had a cocktail and dessert, both of which were excellent. Highly recommend.

We went for breakfast on a beautiful Saturday morning. At first I was a little worried as there weren't very many people for the time of day. BUT then realized there is another section to the restaurant toward the back. Small but tasty menu using bread from the scrumptious bakery next door. And you get a lot of food....we should... More

For a healthy place, the food was anything but. I ordered the veggie bowl and it was swimming in oil. The day before I had the tofu- but it was way to smokey. On a positive note, the biscuits are to die for. And the walnut butter rocks.

The restaurant is very cute and in a great area with other restaurants. Went for lunch. Food was different and everyones lunch was very good. That being said, it is very pricey for the portions. I think there is only one cook it took quite a long time for food to be served. There were not a lot of people... More

We've eaten here many times over the past several years and have never been disappointed. Everything is fresh and very flavorful. If you're there for lunch stop by Fevrer a few doors down to pick up some bread like what you just had to take home!

We waited over an hour AFTER ordering for our food. The manager said they had a party of 40 upstairs and the kitchen could not keep up. They comped our food. BUT...you should tell people that when they come in so they can make a decision. SO, an hour and a half after ordering , the three most disappointing plates... More

This is a farm to table restaurant which I love and appreciate, however, the food was just a little weird to me. I ordered a very simple dish, eggs, bacon, biscuit gravy and potatoes. The gravy was very odd and to me was terrible, the eggs were good and very fresh, the potatoes again strange to me. The bacon was... More

In the quaint older section of K.C., housed in a previous pharmacy, speak-easy and new-age church, the white checkered ceramic tile was original and the big windows opened onto an interesting older section of town. With white table cloths, this little gem is one we'll definitely go back to. We talked with the owner, who said she opened her cafe... More

This place was very mixed for me. They offer all local, fresh, organic food on their menu. Which I think is amazing! But that also meant a very limited menu that my husband could find nothing on he wanted to eat. He finally settled on a sandwich that was exceedingly tiny for the price. My breakfast was more appropriatley sized,... More

We arrived at 1:00 pm for lunch. We were seated promptly, in fact there were several tables available. Other walking distance restaurants had a wait list, which should have been a clue. We were seated, and this is when the disappointment started. We ordered several feature items, including deviled eggs, the catfish sandwich, and a regular old can of Coca... More
