My wife was very impressed by her Lamb and Pea pie. At a cost of $5.70 it was in her words "the Best pie ever". After a sample I conquered that it had generous chunks of lamb and the gravy/sauce was very consistent and sufficient amounts of peas. So highly recommended when in town.

Visited this bakery over 10 years ago and it is just as good now as it was then. Customers were lined up out the door just waiting to buy their pies. Their dessert pastries are equally yummy.

The coffee here is incredibly average, but the food is good if you choose the right thing! Beautiful courtyard on a warm sunny day but the atmosphere inside is pretty bland. Delicious dark rye bread sandwiches, quiches, and fruit tarts.

We just had to try a scallop pie. Lucky we got there reasonably early because we got the second last one. It was yum! A light curry sauce and a generous amount of scallops. Lots of other delicious goodies too.

We ate salmon quiche, a sausage roll and a curry scallop pie. The pastry was flaky, light and buttery and the fillings - delicious. They tasted freshly made, not like they had been sitting in the case for days. There are plenty of seats outside in the sun filled cobblestone courtyard as well as inside the cafe. The service was... If you've heard a lot about scallop pies like us and are dying to try it, this is the place to go. I also had a yoghurt which was fantastic as well. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Richmond!

This bakery is massive! We had delicious pies, although the savoury rolls were a little underwhelming, and the most amazing vanilla slice I've ever had! All fairly reasonably priced too.

the Richmond bakery does some of the best curried scallop pies in Tasmania and their range of other pies, pastries are outstanding, only half an hour from Hobart, it's a must do if you're visiting Tasmania and good coffee

We had a bite to eat - the curried scallop pie was the best pie I have tasted. Absolutely delicious. We sat outside in the sun, and enjoyed the busy bakery. Would recommend.
