We arrived in Richmond on our way home, and arrived at the Richmond Arms only 5 minutes before their kitchen closed, and yet they obligingly prepared us a wonderful scallop meal. It was delicious and fulfilling.

Family dining rooms, seperate dining, tavern with pool table and sports betting along with Keno. Generous portions for lunch and dinner selections. Fun people watching from the plentiful outdoor seating.

Richmond is an old well kept town seen with austrailian eyes and this pub is no exception. It is also a bottle shop as there is no other in the town.

Had evening dinner here. Food was good pub quality, and the price was ok, if slightly on the high side (not surprising as there isn't a huge amount of choice in Richmond for evening meals). As with a lot of Tasmanian pubs best to go early for food in the evening.

The historical C19th village of Richmond is one of the great tourist precincts for Tasmania and a thoroughly delightful place to visit. The Richmond Arms is an original from the 1830s a beautifully restored old pub oozing charm and appeal. Its a pity the food on offer doesn't assist the general presentation. Yes it is a pub serving pub food... More

Good variety of pub food dishes, generously sized servings and the veggies are fresh, not frozen. I had the roast of the day, lamb, and I went for the big version (you can opt for a mini)..and yes, it is was BIG, the plate it comes out on, should be classed as a "platter". No other eateries in Richmond are... More

We didn't find it easy to find somewhere in Richmond that would feed us - one of our kids is relatively fussy. The Hotel suited our needs perfectly. Great sized meals. Service was prompt and friendly.

We ordered the battered prawns and the fisherman's basket. There were a ton of prawns and they were cooked beautifully. The fisherman's basket was on the dry side with the crumbed offerings looking like they'd been forgotten in the deep fryer a few minutes too long. The prices weren't terribly cheap considering the food on offer. The atmosphere was of... More

Dined for lunch with 5 people, the meals were all great and reasonable sizes even the kids meal was decent size. The service was friendly and fast, and the beer was icy Cold. The pub also has a lot of character.
