The cleanliness and laid back atmosphere drew us in . The food and service brought us back. Jazz background music away from the downtown circus was the bonus. Cici the hostess will try to accommodate your meal ( within reason ) and has made all our visits special. This place is why we keep coming to Sayulita. Real Mexico. If... More

The fist couple of years we went to this place frequently. Pretty good Mexican food with cool unusual presentation. That said, after many more years of dining in Sayulita, Sayulita Cafe is quite over priced and seems to be frequented by day trippers to Sayulita. If you have never been it's worth the experience, but only once.

This is the third time I have eaten at this restaurant - I agreed to give it one more try! Never again! Ordered a Mexican platter....it was served cold; the strips of flank steak were dried like beef jerky...the enchilada was dry and cold, the chili relllino was soggy. The waiter did comp my drink...wasn't his fault, but really...how far... More

We had dinner here one night and while it was very good, it was expensive. Our server was great, the food was good, the atmosphere was good, but I would not recommend it unless you were looking for something a bit fancier (for Sayulita).

I had a margarita and four pollo enchiladas with green sauce - superb! This has to be on your list if you go to Sayulita. Also - if you have a big appetite, order the tortilla soup - best I have ever found anywhere, but filling. They don't scrimp on their portions here and their drinks a also top shelf.

Good place to go recommended by hotel owner. I enjoyed the fish and the service was good. The place was well done although the margaritas tasted kind of watery. Overall, a good meat eaters place and the fish was good.

This is always are first restaurant we visit when we arrive. Always good food. Service a little slower but still good . Fajita preservation is amazing and the Decor of the place is so great!

It is consistently rated one of the top places in the area. They serve delicious Mexican food try and get a table on the second floor overlooking the street on the balcony. You can watch all the street performers while enjoying a great meal. I had a stuffed chilli relano and combo platter and the portion was huge for only... More

When you go to Mexico you drink margaritas. We had them in Sayulita, Nuevo Vallarta, and Bucerias. These are the best. Oh and the Mole. . .like chocolate? It's in there. Chili rellenos, Terrific.

We love coming here during our vacations for a delicious, traditional food nicely served. We love waiter Esau (sorry wrong spelling, sorry), always smiling and polite. Favorite dish is malcajete, and we always ordered sea food one but now we discovered there is a meat version too. As many restaurants in Sayulita, unfortunately this one is cash only too.
