I invited my mother and friend to join me at Apparo for lunch. It was their first time at the restaurant. We sampled the goat's cheese on focaccia, soup of the day and the mediterranean ciabatta. The food was presented to a fantastic standard and the service was excellent. We also enjoyed a couple of americano coffees and some shortbread.... More

Nice enough location and decor. Our male waiter was okay 5/10 on overall service. My partner ordered a main that included rice, 15 minutes after we ordered we where informed "they had no rice, would chip's do instead?". We asked for BBQ sauce during our meal, 10 minutes later it arrived, the waiter obviously made it himself and didn't resemble... More

First visit and probably will be my last - ordered the scallops, almost had to search for them on the plate, next was the steak which was nice and desert was chocolate fudge cake which was so dry I didn't even eat half. As it is quite small place and was a busy Saturday night it was very noisy, we... More

Excellent restaurant, perfect staff, helpful Niall H. Traveling home we were looking for dinner. It was too early but Niall did not let us go hungry. I would recommend without hesitation.

Met friends here for dinner. I had the scallops to start with. They had left the corals on which I like but it would have been nice to have had a third scallop on the plate. I never order chicken as a main course but unusually I opted for the roulade of chicken with a parsnip cake and it was... More

Had a evening meal here at late notice, the staff were great and couldn't do enough for you. The restaurant had a relaxed feel to it and was clean. The food was lovely and well presented. I would definitely recommend this place.

We have stopped to eat there 3 or 4 times in our touring the area. Every time we have not only had really good food, but amazing service with a smile. Take a drive to the great little town of Draperstown and give it a try.

Eight of us visited Apparo recently for a special occasion and we had a wonderful meal and evening. The food was delicious and the service, although a little slower than I would have liked, was always with a smile. The only complaint, from all drinking the wine, was that it wasn't chilled enough and although we made our server aware... More

This was out 4th visit in a year and frankly after today's debacle dint think we'll be back. Have invited and recommended with friends in the past but that will now stop. Brought another couple with us on 21 May. Had a lovely meal well cooked and presented on that evening. We all went down on the Sunday morning at... More

Booked this hotel for my husband, mother and myself, was guaranteed to have a wheelchair suitable room for my mother. On arrival the staff were very disorganized, couldn't get the keys to work the lift, which we were later informed had "never worked from the day and hour it was fitted". Firstly the bed was far too high for her,... More
