This pub offers excellent food and a great selection of drinks. It is lovely decorated and allows both, a quiet meal in "the snug" or a more lively dining in the bar area. The staff is very professional and friendly. I really don't have anything bad to say about this place and I believe its a great place for any... More

I've eaten here twice with work colleagues in the past month. Both times we've received excellent service - really welcoming and efficient. The starters and puddings have been the highlight of the meal. Great sharing platters and wonderful crumble with custard and ice cream in small pots.

No.1 son and I fancied a quick informal lunch and chose the Artichoke for something quick and informal. The car park was full which is always a good sign. We decided to gave either the fish / chips of the pie & mash of the day a go depending on what the pie was. It turned out to be game... More

Am amazed this place only gets an average of 3.5 stars. We popped in for a lunch prior to a visit to Wembley and the food was sublime. Short rib was stunning, fish had a lovely light batter, and roast was also very tasty! We were in a bit of a rush and let the staff know. They responded with... More

Came here for lunch as a treat without booking on a Saturday. Good news was that they had a table free. We got our drinks order sorted quickly then it took a while for our food order to be taken. Our starter came quickly - it was the best part of the meal although probably a bit overpriced. Main courses... More

My girlfriend and I went this week for Valentines. As always, the menu was great and the resulting food delicious but what really makes the Artichoke stand out is it's staff. Thanks all!

We went there for a Sunday dinner, the place was very busy and quite noisy. I had scallops for starter couldn't cooked it better. The roast lamb with all the trimmings was very tasty and I enjoyed the crumble of the day. My wife had bubble and squeak and salad nicoise I was a bit disappointed that I was changed... More

Food was good and the staff were absolutely lovely. Made my mums day even though they've never seen us before and we hadn't booked or anything.
