We had our wedding reception here using their tipi. The tipi was perfect for us & catered for fifty three course meals. We had more guests arrive after the meal. All our guests loved the food & thought the space was great. Grace & Darren...both helped to make sure every detail I wanted ran smoothly. I could write an essay about our wedding day but what I will say is that The Crown is the best venue for any celebration. 10/10 spot onMore

The fillet steak is one of the best steaks around! Good drinks menu and service is always impeccable. Highly recommended visiting here!

To be fair this is probably a lone view, we have visited the crown now on sundays for a number of times the staff are amazing very helpful and go way past the mark giving us a great welcome and service. Today's Sunday lunch was...not as good as normal ( late afternoon,) beef and pork were tough ps let me put my own gravy on my plate now I am a big boy, buy dome small gravy boats ) very disappointed but this is probably a one off I hope but the " tinny speakers and pop music is a total turn off, so loud it's difficult to hear each other " why not go up market and get some nice low level background music and keep the "Tinny" pop stuff for the evening ps good speakers will help. To be fair I did go into the bar area and it was nice you could not hear the music and the staff did later say it can be quite in that area. Sadly today it did not get my usual high score , only hope the managers consider our positive remarks. WE will be back again as the Sunday roast are normally better than this today.More

We yet again had a fabulous meal at the Crown. The food really is exceptional and the setting is lovely. The staff really made an effort to engage with my one year which helped to keep her entertained. Thank you!

Lovely meal out with my husband and daughter. It was full when we arrived but didn't feel crowded. We all chose a roast which was delicious and beautifully cooked and presented. Staff were lovely and made sure our every need was met.

Great atmosphere as always. Great food. A little expensive compared to most. Does feel as starters and mains rushed after ordering. I know it’s a 2 hour slot but 15mins between meals would be better. I Wanted a drink at bar while waiting for taxi,...but no where to sit as tables already set out for diners in bar area were being used. I Was asked to go outside while I waited, I explained I was just having quick drink 5 mins. I Did not want to go Outdoors as partner was cold I thought this was fair. So a Little disappointed as I love this place, and spend a lot of money when I come here.More

This was my second visit and as always the food was fab! The service is always impressive, however the waitress did get confused with our dessert order and didn’t apologise, but it was rectified quickly. Other than that, can’t fault the place.

Just my opinion but I'd say comfortably 50, any more and I think it may be a little claustrophobic and packed like sardines.
