Small but cozy. Pleasant waitstaff. So pleased to see many GF options. The wild rice soup was out of this world delicious. My friends said his Swedish pancakes were excellent. There are many interesting items on the menu that I look forward to try some...More

I remember the wonderful food that used to be served here. The Chicken/wild rice soup that the original owners made was absolutely wonderful. Their recipe was the one that won the awards that the current Bean brags about. My sandwich was mediocre. My sister had...More

If you're not in a rush... Vanilla Bean offers delicious made-from-scratch foods. Mmmmm, crepes... yummy treat! Wild rice soup has a delicious, earthy flavor. Sandwich's cranberry bread is good, too.

Be sure to try the warm dinner rolls with the excellent vanilla butter. I enjoyed the turkey club on wild rice-cranberry bread.

One of us had a burger and the other a chef salad. Both meals were good, but seem to be overpriced. Service was great. I guess we won't go back for awhile.

Not gourmet, but better than your average small town diner. Eggs Benedict are tasty if a touch overdone, standard hash browns, very nice fresh fruit. Decent espresso drinks, cranberry wild rice pancake is interesting, under done in the middle (about 8" in diameter). Service is...More
