They have really good authentic Mexican food. Carnitas tacos and guaraches are just delicious, my favorite place to stop by when in the cities, we live up north and this is a staple in the area.

I tried the newest location of Los Ocampo, which opened in the former Daily Diner restaurant location, and was happily surprised. They removed all the booths covering the great "people watching" on Dale and University. The newly remodeled space is more inviting and a perfect location for good food and pleasant scenery of life along the "green line." I ordered... More

We do a lot of traveling in the Southwest. I would have to say this is the closest thing I have found for good, traditional, Mexican tacos in the cities. We have tried only the tacos at this point, so I can only comment on them. I had spicy chicken, shredded pork, Beef and Chorizo. every one was perfect. Served... More

Tried a chorizo taco and a shredded beef taco. Both were delicious, served with sliced radishes, lime wedges, cilantro, and sauteed onions. An ice cold CocaCola and I was all set! Very economical ... less than $6 for the whole shebang!

This has become my favorite Mexican restaurant in Minneapolis. I usually get either the haurache or burrito and each are great. One upside of the burrito is that it comes with some guacamole and a few chips.

The food here is authentic Mexican food. Don't expect taco bell or equivalent. I had the gordita and it was quite good. My wife had tacos and enjoyed them. This is not a high brow place. Food is served on foam plates but the food is good.

We've stopped in for dinner twice before and tonight's visit, our third, may well be the last. It's right in our neighborhood and while we like to patonize local spots, it's up to them to earn continued patronage. The food is mediocre at best -- given the two previous experiences I ordered the steak fajitas. I mean, how tough are... More

First off... the salsa had way too cilantro and was room warmer than temperature. I order steak for the meat selection and asked that it not be over cooked. When it cam out, it was in the form of tiny pieces. I took one bite and choked it down. I couldn't bring myself to eat another bite. My husband is... More

This is one of the most authentic mexican restaurants in the Twin cities area. I love the tacos al pastor, the quesadilla's with cheese, sour cream and stuffed with lettuce! Agua de horchata is excellent too. Prices are reasonable - Highly recommended.

Absolutely some of the best Mexican in the Twin Cities! Good value, good food. Too bad about the atmospheric remains of Bakers' Square still hanging around... But, don't let that stop you. It's not so bad, and they do wicked take out, too!
