We live less than a mile from "The Nook," and we've been upwards of 100 times. Nice place in a nice neighborhood. Many of we locals will tell you this is the best burger joint in MSP.

Asked Siri to find me a lunch place in St. Paul and this was suggested. Probably the best burger I've had anywhere. Specialty is stuffed burgers.

Ok one if their claim to fame is their cheese curds, they claim that it's the best in town. Not true when the MN Stare fair is in town, my crew and I all agreed that the cheese curds were ok.... However the rest of the food was great, we all had burgers with the exception of 1 who had... More

If you want dinner here at dinner time you will probably wait-but do it anyway! It is so good! My dad is a hamburger snob-hates going out for burgers when he believes his are always better. This is the one place that shut him up lol. The meat is delicious. The variety of burgers has something for everyone! And don't... More

Ok, so the place is a bit small, and often crowded, ok, and sometimes a bit noisy...but it is all worth it because the burgers are so good. It is worth the wait, if you can handle the stairs, you can sometimes get into the lower level bowling alley faster.

If you are in the mood for a good burger this is the spot! It's usually busy so come early and if the street level is full there's always the basement. Same great food but few know they can dine down there too. Order the sweet potato fries too or onion rings. Makes my mouth water just writing about it... More

I often get take out from the Nook. Since the food is good the restaurant is crowded and there is often a wait time. If you can get in for bowling there are 2 lanes in the basement which are really fun. Highly recommend the Paul Molitor burger.

This is a new place that I had gone to. Just a small hole-in-the-wall place. You know what they say about a small hole-in-the-wall place. Very good food!

It's called the Nook for a reason. It's a tiny little place that serves great food, good beer and interesting conversation . Across the street from the high school where Paul Molitor and Joe Mauer got their start in Baseball, it's often packed with people from the neighborhood. A rowdy, fun spot where you can renew old friendships. Downstairs, a... More

There are now plenty of places for a good Jucy Lucy in the twin cities, but our fav is the Nook-Fresh tender fried ground beef with the right cheese inside (I like the Paul Moliter with pepper jack), maybe some onions or other toppings on a fresh soft bun paired with awesome fresh fries and plenty of choices for a...
