Clearly a better choice than Starbucks in terms of atmosphere. Local, cozy charm. Friendly servers and counter folks. Alas, my coffee was just okay. A tad bitter/acidic, like the bottom of the pot.

We have stopped for coffee and snacks several times. Such a busy place but staff are always friendly and helpful. The menu includes lots of sandwiches, soups, desserts, scones, other good looking food.

I have been to Nina's many times, tonight I stopped into pick up a gift card and a cup of coffee. The girl who waited on me could not have been less interested in serving me. When I asked if there were any 'berry scones' left she replied-"I don't know." Period. After I got my cup of coffee I sat... More

Stopped by on a Saturday night. Ordered two hot chocolates, a coffee, and a couple of personal pizzas to share. After ordering, the cook graciously let us know she was out of some of the pizza ingredients but would improvise, and her creation was very good. However, the hot chocolate was luke warm and the coffee was a bit like... More

Nina's is fantastic, and I simply adore the building it's in. I love popping in there to get some work done, but the only downside is that it's always absurdly busy. The drinks and treats are great, and I know they have food, but I haven't tried anything. I would definitely recommend this local hot spot!

We came for brunch on Monday and it was packed. It's not a very large space, maybe 50 or so seats spread between tables and couches. A guy was nice enough to give up his seat so our party of three could sit. We started off with Jasmine tea, macchiato, and a coffee. Everything was pretty standard, nothing fancy, but... More

There was only one table left at 2 p.m. on a weekday, so this is a very popular place on Capitol hill. My chai latte with vanilla flavoring plus nutmeg and cinnamon sprinkled on top was very good. The tables by the front door are a bit chilly and breezy in the winter, yet no other tables were available when... More

We had wonderful latte's at Nina's. This is the local spot. It was very crowed, but service was friendly and good. The coffee is terrific. This is in a nice neighborhood with small shops and restaurants.

The late was divine. Just the right temperature, coffee was very smooth, no bitter aftertaste. Had the Selbey sandwich, a good vegetarian option with a nice side salad.
