I was there for a dinner function with approximately 28 other people. Service was prompt, especially considering the size of our group. I was surprised dinner did not take forever. I had a filet, with mashed potatoes and asparagus for entree. I tried the lobster bisque, clam chowder and caesar salad appetizers. And I had cheesecake for dessert. All of... More

OK, I'll give them a break...it was New Years eve, the place was packed, they were slammed. The table waiter was new, the menu limited. The food came out room temperature. The scallops were bland and over soaked in an uninviting flavored cooking oil. The first Prime rib came with two hunks of fat larger than the eatable portion. The... More

We went to Kincaid's in St. Paul for Xmas dinner this year. The food was basically all right, but not great. The biggest disappointment was the small selection. There was no fish except salmon and no fowl, duck, chicken or turkey dishes on their menu. I can understand that on a holiday they may have had a smaller staff in... More

We have been coming to Kincaid's for years. We usually frequent the Bloomington location but once a year we get tickets to the Ordway and hit Kincaid's prior to the show. The food is consistently good and the wine list is extensive. They always seem to have an abundance of staff and the service is typically outstanding. You can't go... More

This downtown full service eatery reminds me of some of the best in downtown Chicago. High ceilings, a wall of windows looking onto the street ,great atmosphere. A full menu of interesting items all well prepared and presented. Try the scallops.

Kincaid's has turned into a typical chain....generic, not that good of food, okay service but people keep going back because it's Kincaid's. We had not been there for quite a while (over two years) and were really surprised how bad our food was and how just 'okay' the service was. We arrived early for drinks in the bar and were... More

Liked the classy look even for lunch. Cloth napkins. Food was good, like gourmet. Attentive waiter. Over priced and no bread to make the wait easier. Felt like we waited a hour for food to arrive. My pasta was warm, not hot. Tiny tables and needs soundproofing.very loud. I won't be going back.

In town for the Thanksgiving weekend, our family came to Kincaid's for dinner on a Saturday night. The restaurant was pleasantly uncrowded, the service very attentive and the food quite good. The pomegranate Cosmo was better than the triple berry Cosmo, wedge salad was fresh and crisp with a deviled egg on the side, butternut squash soup was far from... More

Business dinner with 7 co-workers and had the French Onion Soup (best I have had in a long time) and the prime rib was terrific. Open kitchen with very efficient staff, wait staff very attentive. A great find in Saint Paul.
