We like the food choices at Roscoe's and very happy that they are open again. This is the old time drive inn place. It's a bit run down and showing its' age but the food was great. I had the fish which was very good and she had the shrimp. Love the jojos!

Roscoes is a long-time outside restaurant that is best known for it's ribs. I just wish there was a way to get their ribs during the last fall to early spring when they're closed.

We used to love the fish and chips dinner, telling others it was the best around. We just tried again this year and last year and it is now chewy and the outside crust is not the same at all. This was the last chance, we will not get fish here again. Go back to what it used to be.

Great foodand great service! It's always sad when they close in the fall.. And wonderful when the snow thaws and they open again.

Had a nice lunch at Roscoe’s, a seasonally-open roadside place in Rochester. Ribs were tasty, good sauce, did not detect much smoke except in the sauce, and smoke ring not really evident. Not sure why since the smoker unit, behind the tiny restaurant, is a big stainless steel looking thing. And smelled like smoke. Pulled pork was good, better then... More

Got a half rack to go, sauce was OK, nothing special. The root beer is outstanding!!! Didn't see or smell a smoker on site, the ribs were tender and meaty but could use a rub and some smoke. Maybe I spend to much time in the South eating BBQ to appreciate ribs in MN

I always like to try "mom and pop" type places. This was one of those, and I loved the look and location of this little eatery. The BBQ was okay, nothing really special. I paid $2.00 extra for the brisket - the first time I ever had to pay more for brisket over pork or ham or chicken. I can't... More

Nice place. Cute. Outdoor. Pulled pork was good. However, the jojos, those were a different. Simply thinly sliced homefries with BBQ sauce submerging them. Not my taste at all. Ice cream cone was delicious. Would I return? Yes. Just not for jojos.

I had beef brisket and ribs with no sides to go here's what you need to know about to go orders at this place the containers aren't very good and they put a decent amount of sauce on the items so make sure you bring something to put there boxes in because you will have sauce all over the place... We love Roscoe's. The outdoor atmosphere is great in the summer and warmer days - definitely a staple of living in Rochester. Decent prices for good summer food!
