Food and service were outstanding. Pleasant atmosphere. Had it been a nice day would have loved to be outside. Definitely worth a visit just to experience.
Thanks for your kind words. Glad to hear you enjoyed the atmosphere and your meal. Come visit us again when you can. Maybe when it is a little warmer out to explore Red Wing some more! Cheers, Jackie
I stopped by for lunch and while they had a great brunch option, I didn’t want that much food. I remembered the wild rice soup being something special during an earlier visit to Red Wing, so I ordered a bowl. I wanted to crawl into...More
Hi Robin, Excellent choices on the light lunch. It sounds like you were able to join the clean plate club! Stop in again when you can, and thank you for your kind comments. Take Care, jackie
Four of us were in town for a little sight-seeing and we stopped at the Veranda for lunch. The menu did not break any new ground and there wasn't anything that shouted 'Red Wing' but our server was very nice to us. One of us...More
Hi Tom, Glad to hear you were able to see a little bit of Red Wing on your venture to town. Also happy to know your friend was accommodated for her side choices. Our fries are excellent and have the most perfect amount of crunchy!...More
We split a crab Louie sandwich and each had a cup of chicken wild rice soup. Everyone serves this, but , creamy, salty, lots of mushrooms. Good.
Henry, Glad to hear you enjoyed your meal in the Veranda. Hope you were able to stop into Jimmy's Pub and the Port. Lots of great items to share as well. Come see us again, Jackie
Great breakfast overlooking the Mississippi River. Roomy and quiet restaurant meeting any travelers needs.
Thanks for your comments. Hope you enjoyed your breakfast and we will see you in the future again :) Thanks, Jackie
Great parking ramp (motorcycle friendly too) located right under the hotel. Easy elevator ride (or walk) up a few floors to Veranda Restaurant. You can either sit outside or dine indoors. We chose indoors as we were riding motorcycle that day and wanted a little...More
Hi Indiana, Thanks for choosing to stop into the Veranda for a bite to eat and exploring the hotel. Glad you both chose to explore around, we also have a self guided walking tour available at the front desk. Totally worth it too! Cheers and...More
We ate 2 breakfasts and dinner there. The dinner was better than it needed to be for a hotel restaurant. Breakfasts were good, though service at breakfast was a bit spotty. Great view of the river.
Hello Traveler, We recently launched all new menu's this past spring and we are glad to hear you enjoyed your breakfasts and dinner meals. Come back soon so you can try some different items. Take Care :) Jackie
My husband and I recently dined at The Veranda. His crab sandwich was OK, but my husband thought the bun was the best part. I had ahi tuna and fresh greens (both appetizers) - combined they made a nice light dinner. The raspberry mojito is...More

We have been to this restaurant a few times for Sunday brunch. This time was better than others, the food was fresh and was kept stocked. We got a table with a view of the river. It was pretty crowded but that wasn't a problem....More
