I came here with my dad for dinner based on on TripAdviser & Yelp reviews, and this restaurant did not disappoint. The food is really well-made and the service good. There could be a bit more lighting throughout the restaurant; we had to ask our hostess if she could turn on a bit more light by our table so we... More

Great Lebanese cuisine. Owners always present to ensure a great experience. If you can get Saed to read your Turkish coffee grounds even heightens the experience. Try the stewed green beans. They sound simple but that is what makes them great!

We went here after work while in town as our colleague touts it as one of the better places in MSP. We decided to order a variety of small plates to share. We order mushrooms, hummus, octopus, and a few others including the half chicken. Overall the food was great, some items surprisingly lacked in spice flavor especially for a... More

We've been coming here for years and still love it. On our most recent visit, my partner and I shared the tagine with duck, and it was fantastic. The menu includes some unique and creative small plates and apps, and the wine list is solid. We've never had bad service here, although on our most recent visit it was perhaps... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a doctor from The Mayo Clinic and it was a hit. Our waiter, Joseph, was informative, attentive and funny! We ordered a variety of dishes to share. Loved the hummus and the green beans in tomato sauce. The lamb was delicious and my husband has never had a better steak. The spicey sauce... More

The restaurant has a pleasant ambiance with windows overlooking the old third street of Minneapolis. We had hummus and octopus appetizers which set the stage for a perfect dinner. There was fresh fish from the Mediterranean as a main entree along with unique salads and dessert. The service was well done, professional, courteous, and the wine list was very good.... More

I love the smaller plates/appetizers here. I don't drink but my friends love the cocktails. And the chicken main dish with eggplant lavashe is simply marvelous.

At Saffron, Sami Wadeh prepares dishes from different Mediterranean perspectives, and the food is really unique. My partner and I had dinner there recently and it was definitely a five-star experience. We began with three small dishes, the hummus (not so small, really!) with Saffron's own flatbread--both delicious; green beans with a kind of ratatouille consistency with tomatoes and spices--this... Saffron offers a Mediterranean style fare. We sampled pretty much all of the vegetarian options in small plates. Loved the caraway seed potatoes, fried cauliflower, spreads with pita, and giant fava beans. Didn't care for the tangine vegetables. Unique atmosphere! Would go back again.
