So we were in town for an event and decided to meet another friend for breakfast on a Saturday mid morning because it was close to our hotel. Nothing was technically wrong with the place but only breakfast or brunch option was huge! We had...More

There is seating on the main level and also upstairs above the mall-like section of the airport. We sat upstairs and ordered beers, soda, soups, burgers and chicken sandwiches. All were very good and the friendly & attentive server was great too. Thanks for dinner...More

We walked in and it felt like a blast from the past. To the surly (funny though!), waiter that sat us to the décor it felt like we were in a time warp. We ordered quite a few of their appetizers since we only stopped...More

I would never visit an Ike's restaurant anywhere after my experience at the MSP airport. The club sandwich that I had included sliced roast beef that was as tough as boot leather and tasted even worse. A fast food restaurant would have been much better...More

Many and varied choices for burgers. Friday night was packed at 5:30. Service could have been more attentive, but the three of us each enjoyed a different burger.

We always come here to eat before flights. This may be the last time. My turkey meal tasted weird and kind of old. My husband said his French fries were not hot....lukewarm at best. The food sucked but we always have the most wonderful service...More

Visiting Minneapolis for the Frozen Faceoff. Weekend Brunch at Ike's is a must! Eggs, pancakes, sausage and bacon are served family style - all you can eat. Giant caramel rolls to get things started. The atmosphere is old time classic American fine dining.

There aren't a lot of unique things you can do in an airport. Go in here and get the giant bloody mary with friends and order a side of fries with it. Makes for a great stop.

We had some time between flights so decided to spend some down time at Ikes. We've been here before and liked it before also. Each time my husband had their blood mary and enjoyed it both times. We all had burgers this time and were...More

Of course the bloody marys and ginormous cinnamon rolls are great during brunch, but I highly recommend Ike's for drinks and dinner when spending an evening downtown. (Then head into their neighbor, Lyon's Pub, for an equally awesome time.) Ike's has great appetizers, wine, and...More

You’d swear this place has been around since the '40s. A bar commands the narrow room flanked by booths and tables. Servers in coats, bartenders in jackets yet with a casual air that screams welcome. American classics; juicy hand-formed burgers. Lunchtime, a carver chef slices fresh roast beef and roast turkey for sandwiches. Small plates span America’s history; supper club shrimp cocktail up-to-the-minute items as tuna tataki, fresh guacamole prepared table side, fresh spring rolls stuffed with rice noodles, shrimp and holy basil. “Big Plates”; Fillet Oscar, homemade meat loaf, pork prime rib, house smoked ribs, all can include soup, salad, bread and a basket of plastic-wrapped crackers, just like in the old days. Ike's has a serious bar, strong drinks, vintage cocktails and ice cream drinks a good selection of beers and wines by the glass. Ike's is one of downtown's favorite; retro booths, antique wood bar, with a supper-club feel.
