We enjoyed the freshly baked cardamom rolls, an oatmeal apple scone, a ginger cookie and Swedish coffee at our table. All were delicious!

Fika offers a unique dining experience–classy, Scandinavian, elegant. I've eaten here several times, always surprised and delighted. The portions are small, not for a trencherman appetite.

Had lunch with three friends and was delighted to get a table immediately on a Saturday afternoon. The menu is small but very interesting with traditional Nordic fare. We tried the meatballs, ale battered cod and the warm artichoke salad. Each was beautifully presented. The meatballs were raved about. My cod was crispy, but had almost more batter than fish.... Loved the authentic Swedish taste. Didn't realize how I was missing this food. The presentation is an important part of how good this was. The cardamom bun was the best I ever had (and having been both to Sweden and involved with a former Swede who owned a bake shoppe means something!!). The gravlax was excellent, the meatballs perfect and... More

I've eaten at Fika before, so I knew the portions were small. No problem there. But with small, simple and expensive, I do expect quality. And the meatballs were bland and tough. It took away from the delicious flavors of the rest of the entree. The worst part, however, was the cinnamon rolls. Unfortunately I bought 3! They looked so... More

When I was last here two summers ago, meh. After today, I will make Fika one of my regulars for lunch! Super fresh ingredients, creative combinations and presentation, and super delicious. The place was BUSY with the Christmas crowd. But well worth the wait. Normally I don't get too excited about Swedish meatballs. Not here. I will definitely order these... More

If you go to the American Swedish Museum, you must eat at FIKA. It is truly an experience. The menu, although small, is very good. We ordered the Potato Leek Soup with Bacon, Swedish Meatballs and an assortment of Swedish cookies. The Potato Leek soup was served piping hot with crispy bacon crumbled on top. The soup was creamy and... More

This place is so delicious. I had the lemon spaetzle and it rivaled my Danish grandmothers, which is no small feat. Love the atmosphere, it is clean, staff was friendly, and I enjoyed the gift shop as well.
