Greasy eggs, greasy hashbrowns. What looked like slices of the cheapest presliced cheese u can get. Coffe was not v. Good. Definitely worse than any of the big coffee chains (starbucks, caribou,McDonalds)

Having passed this cafe on numerous occasions, it was fun to finally stop by for lunch recently. The atmosphere is quaint with memorabilia on the walls. First impression of wait staff was not the greatest but she redeemed herself when she returned to take our order. For a small cafe, the menu more extensive than expected. The day's special of... Charming little cafe. Good food cooked like Mama. Huge sweet rolls and other breads fresh out of the oven. A definite repeat next time we're up that way. It is on the sight of several small shops which makes the stop even more convenient . Very friendly and informative staff.

We visited The Schoolhouse Cafe during our visit to McGregor two times and we were very pleased both times. The prices are right, the food is delicious, and the amount of food you get will more than fill you up! I love bread pudding and they have a trial size portion with each order. So Good that I just ordered... More

I had the Java crunch ice cream on a particularly hot day before Mass. It was very good. There is a gift shop on the premises as well.

Homemade bread, homemade bread pudding, great coffee, always happy after a breakfast here. The walls are decorated with 'Dick and Jane' and old school memories. Locals love it also. Ice cream is also available for those time when you need a cone!

Fabulous little diner in a city with not so much going on. The restaurant was bustling with local farmer flair on this particular Saturday morning. Even with the busy morning inflow of customers the waitress (who I think was also the owner) was quick and efficient and kept the coffee warm. Pro Tip: The bathrooms were clean.

I should not say this but Sunday Dinner is excellent. Real mashed potatoes, Roast beef, vegetable, salad and home made pie for under $10.00. I have heard that there is also Roasted Turkey with all the fixings on some Sundays. Now why not say anything? Because there won't be any for me when I come back.

Thank John B
