We were on the north shore & two of those nights we went to New Scenic Cafe. The escargot is out if this world! We had vegetarian s in our group & 2 meat eaters and we all loved our food. Tonight my husband had lamb shank and he thought it wAs fabulous. Definitely finer dining.
We have been to New Scenic Cafe multiple times over the years for lunch and dinner with co-workers, friends, and just us. Consistently, the food and service has always been good.
I will be short: i have been to one star michelin restaurants twice in my life, and they impressed me less than this one. The food is amazing, the service is great. I believe that their chef is genius.
The specials are always good. Tuna tacos and french onion soup go to favorites. Nice to be able to get great food and reasonable portions, so maybe I can have an appetizer and an entre, or better yet enjoy one of their unique and delicious desserts!
Sophisticated food made with local ingredients in a completely comfortable and scenic setting. Groovy fire pit outside the restaurant, which was stuffed with locals. Food is creative and energetic. Not a small plate restaurant, so be careful not to order too many dishes!
