It’s always good here for at least one meal while in Duluth. I had the pasta dish with sausage; the tomatoes were much too chunky for my liking. The breadstick however was fab! My friend had some sort of steak sandwich. She said it was...More

Have heard so much about Grandma's and a gotta go to place. Sorry, not again.. Slow service, and it wasn't busy. Fries were cold and mushy. The fish was overcooked so the beer batter tasted burnt. Mac N Cheese was not good either.....Had your chance...More

Grandma's Saloon has eager young women as waitresses with smiling friendly faces. Food comes out reasonably quick and is cooked to your order. Every visitor should plan on eating at Grandma's at least one time during their visit to Duluth.

The location can’t be beat! You can sit upstairs, outside, and you are next to the aerial lift bridge and can watch Great Lakes ships go thru the bridge and canal. While eating upstairs outside has a more limited menu, who cares, when you can...More

This is a great location. We visited on a Saturday and it was very busy. Parking is limited. They have a nice atmosphere and a good menu. Food was very good. It’s worth the stop if you can handle the crowds and limited parking.More

I've been to Grandmas twice in the last 6 weeks for work and both times have been good experiences. Both times sat inside one of their dining rooms, lots of neon signs and cool decor on the walls and hanging from the ceiling. Steak n...More

We stopped in early afternoon - mid week. Although it was very busy, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated. The hostess chose a booth for us (not typically my favorite), and our server Katelyn brought our drinks - water and an IPA for me,...More

Grandma's and Duluth are pretty much synonymous. You can't go to Duluth and not eat at Grandma's! The food is good which makes your visit even better!

We had an enjoyable experience! It was very busy as that's the norm, but we pretty much got seated right away! We had a large, comfortable booth and our wait staff was awesome, especially Raheem! Such a friendly young man with a great smile!!

Description
Since 1976 Grandma’s Saloon & Grill has been a casual but lively adventure to the past where value and customer service are at the center of everything we do. You’re surrounded by authentic antiques, collectibles, and an eager staff ready and willing to please. The award winning food includes overstuffed sandwiches and burgers; USDA choice steaks; house specialty pasta and wild rice dishes; appetizers include nationally recognized homemade onion rings, chicken wings, and stuffed mushrooms. It’s an eyeful as well as a mouthful. The legacy of customer satisfaction has been handed down by the Italian immigrant who started it all, “Grandma” Rosa Brochi. Everything she did in her early boarding house business included “100% customer satisfaction,” words that we still live by today. Grandma’s Saloon & Grill is real history, real antiques, real service, and really good food! A dining experience of legendary indulgence. The original Grandma’s Saloon & Grill is located at the foot of the historic Aerial Lift Bridge, at the tip of Lake Superior. Seasonal deck dining and the new rooftop lounge includes this spectacular view.
