Another wonderful and memorable Thanksgiving dinner at Eddie V's of Troy Michigan. The reception staff was efficient and welcoming! Our meal was perfect thanks to planning and work from all who prepared it. Our waiter Phil K. was " icing on the cake"! His level...of professionalism in his service to our table was outstanding and enhanced our experience in such a positive way. Thank you Eddie V's!More

Wedding Anniversary, I made a personal reservation weeks in advance for are special night it was arranged by the general manager Jared K Kirkman GM “We would be his special personal guest” Due to fact are last visit was not good,…we was at that time...celebrating my husband’s birthday. The new arrangements was made for August 25, 2022 at 7:30 PM and a oval Booth was requested he said no problem on the phone he would make it a very special occasion for us. Plus he sent me a $200 gift card to are home by UPS, Which was very unexpected and I was truly surprised when I received it and really excited and was looking forward to this very special wedding anniversary I had set up and planned with the general manager Jared K Kirkman. Upon arrival on 08/25/22 at 7:15 PM We were greeted by the general manager he introduced his self he seemed very professional,.. he informed us the table wasn’t quite ready and he wanted to make this very special for us and asked us to give him a (couple of minutes) so we went to the bar and 40 minutes passed before we were even seated, then he (Jared K Kirkman GM) walked us to this what was supposed to be a special table for us that was located at the back emergency door by a bus station this is what he called special and this is what we waited 40 minutes for absolutely horrible. After my husband expressed that we were not satisfied with the location he had chose! They moved us after waiting another 10 minutes to a side square booth nothing like what we had discussed weeks in advance. When we where finally seated at our table my husband stepped away to use the men’s room when the general manager Jared K Kirkman GM,…approach me leaned down and whispered loudly in my ear “ I will change your profile and make sure it states that you’re more interested in a booth then good service”. I wanted to cry I was so mortified,.. “he kept going on about the server he had planned for us and because we did not stay at first table selection that we really missed out on his perfect server”. When my husband returned, I informed him how upset I was and what the general manager Jared K Kirkman GM, had said to me and the couple sitting at the next booth turned around and told my husband they heard the whole thing as well. My husband immediately wanted to leave I convinced him to stay because I did not want our wedding anniversary night to be ruined because of this general managers rudeness and his lack of professionalism. Plus it would be impossible to make arrangements so late into the evening for somewhere else. So every few minutes he (Jared K Kirkman GM) kept interrupting us and making a scene by coming to the table asked us if we where ok,.. at first I thought he just wanted to try and make up for us waiting over 50 minutes to be seated, but it was just the opposite and it was very uncomfortable and annoying. All we wanted to do was try to salvage what was left of a horrible evening because this general manager Jared K Kirkman GM of this restaurant. On a positive note our server he was excellent very professional and polite and the food was impeccable as always. But because of the treatment we received by Jared K Kirkman GM after planning the special occasion for weeks by the general manager of Eddie V’s‘s we will never attend this restaurant again. $200 gift card or not nothing will ever convince me to walk through those doors again. Jared K Kirkman GM should not be the face of Eddie V’s‘s.More

We were at Eddie V's on a Monday evening - for our anniversary dinner - to make a long story short - it was an awesome experience - exceeded expectations - if there was a six star rating, I'd give it to them! For our...anniversary - they had rose petals spread across the middle of our table, a long stemmed pink rose for my wife, and an anniversary card for us - followed by complimentary flutes of champagne! The service was excellent - our waiter Phil R. was a true pro - and the food was prepared perfectly - in my case, the best filet mignon I've had in a restaurant in a long time. There was a live jazz combo playing throughout the evening in the bar / lounge area - an unexpected delight on a Monday evening. Then a complimentary flaming dessert sampler for us to split - again as part of our anniversary. Whether it's a special occasion or not - Eddie V's in Troy is a top high-end dining experience - as an advertising executive, I've dined at many high-end restaurants - this is right up there with the best - ambiance, food, service, live jazz, attention to detail - highly recommend it!!More

My wife and I visited Eddie V’s - Troy on 29July2022. From the moment we arrived it was a great experience. This was a celebration dinner for us and EV’s really made it special. John was our server and he did a great job. He...is truly a food service professional and it shows in everything he does. Also, his server support team was excellent! We enjoyed the crab cakes and shrimp cocktail appetizers and both selected twin lobster tail dinners as entrees. The food was excellent and the presentation was flawless. While dining, Jared the Operating Partner, stopped by our table making sure everything was going well. You can tell he is very focused on quality and would correct anything not up to expectations. This was our second visit to EV’s, the first being over two years ago. The server from our first visit stopped by our table and thanked us for our return visit! What restaurant ( or staffer ) does that? EV’s is definitely a special occasion venue and it is pricey, but certainly well worth it! A fine dining location with a seafood specific menu is tough to find in metro Detroit. Arguably, only three exist. If you have tried the other two, give EV’s a try, you won’t be disappointed. If you haven’t tried the other two, try EV’s first and use it to set the standard!!!!More

We sat at the bar as they were totally booked in the dining room and had a great experience. We got to chat with the amazing bartender Steve, and the server Kimberly was very attentive to us. The food was delicious and really good value....The crabcake and the lobster tacos for appetizer and the steak dinners were cooked to perfection. The brussel sprouts were so tasty with a really tasty sauce. They even provided us with a little taster of their banana specialty dessert which was presented beautifully. Overall a wonderful experience, we would definitely go back if we were ever in Troy again.More

We had our Office Christmas Dinner last night at Eddie V's Troy. The service was excellent. Our Waiter, Derek Witcher was excellent. All of the food was prepared well and looked fantastic. The Seafood Tower, Lobster Bisque, Bone in Ribeye and Appetizers were all great....My wife is not a seafood lover, so Derek recommended a chicken dish that was not even on the menu to satisfy here. She was satisfied. The cocktails were very nice and the Creme Brule was perfect. Will definitely go back again.More

We are from Indianapolis, Indiana. Traveled to the area for a funeral. We checked out places to eat in the Somerset Troy, Michigan area on a Sunday. We stopped at Eddie's V and the place is "Amazing!" The atmosphere was great! Live music playing in...the bar area where we were sat. The band made us feel like we had a front row seat at a concert. The food was good and the dessert. This place is well worth the money. I believe the combination of the food, drink, and live music all made this a great place to go. I strongly suggest if you have a chance to check them out "Go!"More

had a great meal Sunday night and the food and wine service was a 10! we apps, salads and shared 3 entrees between the 3 of us; the sole, the bone in filet and the Airline Chicken. The sauces and preparation were to die for....Make sure to consult their sommelier in recommending wine pairings. We sat at in the bar area and was a lot of fun.More

Melissa is our waitress, she’s nice, attentive and expedient. We started off with the kung pao calamari, house salad, the gnocchi, shiitake mushrooms and asparagus with sun-dried tomato pesto and the Norwegian salmon with the mustard and rye whiskey glaze. They brought us some bread...shortly after our order was taken. The house bread has a nice crust to it and tastes good, a nice carby execution. Trish, the manager stopped by and greeted herself and told us to ask if we needed anything from her. The kung pao calamari was nice and chewy and the KP sauce rocks it. Asked for an extra bit of the sauce since it was a bit sparse and some rings didn’t have any sauce on them at all. The house salad wasn’t bad, a nice 15 year aged balsamic glaze dressing. Did have to ask for a bit more dressing on the side though. They are having another private event in the main dining area, which was the case this past week too when we tried to come for dinner. We ate in the high top booth tables in the bar or V lounge. I like the V lounge and dining room shared wall and wine cellar case, it’s a such a unique and nice view. The salmon was tasty, wow it was piping hot and burned my mouth the first few bites. The gnocchi was also good, a really nice sun-dried pesto sauce, the gnocchi was slightly overcooked and a bit mushy and soft for my liking. We finished off our meal with the s’mores, since that’s the one reason why we came here at all. ;) The s’mores came out quickly, too quickly, it wasn’t what I had hoped and imagined in my mind after seeing the pics on here. It was cold and hard. Scott had come by and had asked how our dessert was and I told him it was okay, that I had thought it would come out warm from the marshmallow scorching. That’s what the pics lent me to believe at least. Plus that’s how campers heat up their s’mores cook it over the fire and eat it immediately, right? The s’more dessert as a whole wasn’t bad, but was about a 3 since it was cold, would have been a 4 if it had been warm for me. Not sure if it had too much marshmallow puff for me that made it too too over powering to me. Scott was patient, attentive, great listener and concerned about our experience being as fantastic as possible. It felt like a worried parent but in a nice way. He wanted to do what he could to make the dessert better. However my initial elation over the s’mores had come and gone. I was okay leaving it behind after eating about 2/3 of it with my hubby. The staff here are so extremely attentive and considerate and go absolutely above and beyond to make your experience here memorable. I can see why this is a favored place for a special occasions. Our occasion tonight, it was a Saturday and we had designs for a good meal and good dessert too, so that’s what brought us here this snowy night. The bathrooms were immaculate and the 3 stalls are nice and very private, they had full walls and doors from floor to ceilings. Reminds me of Europe. The kung pao, the salmon and the gnocchi were all solid dishes. The s’mores needs a bit more work to make it out of this world good and make it a dish you can’t leave a crumb behind.More

I dined here on December 21, 2019 with 3 couples and Tim S. was our server. Although everyone in the group ordered something different and even customized their selections the kitchen made a few boo boo's but I wont hold it against them. I had...the wedge salad with the bone in fillet and a lobster tail and I can tell you it was all great. The lobster tail was the best tail i even had in a restaurant. The steak and salad was spot on as well and the bananas foster was too die for. Take a look at the photo I posted of the bill and you will see what everyone ordered. Despite the kitchen not getting the order completely right even after server Tim was very specific with them his service was spot on. Our bill for 6 was $504 with out tip. I never mind paying for food like this.More

We came here based on a recommendation from my son who had been here for drinks and appetizers. This is one of those restaurants you go to for a very special occasion and plan on spending a lot of money. My sons got Smoked Old...Fashion Drinks that they basically prepare at your table. They both enjoyed the drinks. One son got the Lobster Bisque soup that they also assembled at our table. That was absolutely delicious and every drop was eaten or soaked up in the bread that was on the table. These are the entree's everyone ordered: 22 oz bone in ribeye with blue cheese crust and 2 stuffed shrimp, an 8 oz filet with 2 stuffed shrimp, the Hong Kong Sea Bass, and a 16 oz bone in filet with blue cheese crust. For side dishes we ordered grilled asparagus with Hollandaise sauce and the Au Gratin potatoes. Everything was delicious and our waiter Kevin was awesome!!!More

An upscale dining experience, with prices to match. But go for Happy Hour and get the great food and service for a fraction of the price. Sweet chili-glazed calamari, crab cakes, fish and lobster tacos, everything was delish. They were celebrating prohibition with a special...drink menu that we ordered off of and it was quite tasty as well. Would highly recommend. Must try the bananas flambé butter cake. You’ll go home and dream about it!More
