It's a comfortable cozy restaurant with good food and good service. Their lake perch seemed to be right out of the lake.

I was looking forward to a special dinner. Maybe it's true that distance lends enchantment. But even after an hour's drive to get here, the anticipation and expectation did not engender a special experience. It wasn't bad, by any means, it just wasn't "special" or...More

Regardless of the type of cuisine you prefer, the menu will have something for you. The staff are great and the food is wonderful. The sunsets over Lake Michigan are spectacular as viewed from the windows in the dining room. A great place to go.

Grande Mere is on 5800 Red Arrow Hwy, Stevensville, Michigan and our FAVORITE place for dinner. Not only is their food top quality and delish; the scenery is too as it overlooks Lake Michigan. Wonderful staff too, it's worth the trip!

The dress code is upper casual. NO beach wear. Although no formal requirements, you do not want to be there with tank top and shorts. Most men wear slacks, shirt and some a sports jacket.
