Now under second generation ownership, this place fits like a comfortable shoe. By the time you leave, you feel like a regular and the food is a combination of stick-to-your-ribs American fare and fresh seafood.

The restaurant is on a bluff with nice views of Lake Michigan, especially at sunset. This is an old-time dinner restaurant, the menu has traditional dishes. The sauces are heavy. For my taste, the dishes are just OK. The service is just OK. If you...More

My husband and I come here when we can. We like the coziness when sitting at the bar. Sally is outstanding with her attention toward us. Sometimes we just dine on appetizers while other times it's a full dinner. We haven't been disappointed yet. Looking...More

The dress code is upper casual. NO beach wear. Although no formal requirements, you do not want to be there with tank top and shorts. Most men wear slacks, shirt and some a sports jacket.
