We live 5 minutes away and so often bring family and friends here. It's always superb and having travelled all over France this is the BEST creme brûlée you will ever have. Love it x

This is an unprepossessing little roadside restaurant in a quiet village outside Terrasson. Small tables, less than luxurious surroundings BUT the food was outstanding both in quality and presentation. This restaurant came highly recommended and we were told that the fish was particularly good. Based on this advice, we treated ourselves to the 29.90 euro entree+plat+dessert formula taken from the a la carte but found it was not as good as other lunches we...More

A great typical French bistro style restaurant. Simple food but cooked really really well with attention to detail and great flavours. Very reasonably priced.

Description
La Table de Jean is a charming little restaurant in the village of Coly right in the centre of Périgord Noir near Sarlat, Terrasson and Montignac-Lascaux. La Table de Jean offers a traditional bistro ambiance and is the perfect venue for all occasions at any time of year: lunch with your family, dinner with friends or a business meal. The restaurant boasts a rustic, 50s style decor blending the old and new. On a fine day, the terrace opens onto the shady garden so you can sit back and admire the country setting. As for the cuisine, Patrick and his team will impress you with their revisited traditional dishes prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
