Manana Manana cafe is a cute cafe with a simple but wholesome menu that includes salads, bagels, paninis and drinks. We loved that they brought out filtered water to begin with, a nice touch and very welcome in the Leon heat. We shared a Jason Bagel, which contained chicken and salad and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Very nice place to stop in Leon

Local near the center of Leon, clean and very well conditioned, with a clear orientation to the western tourist. A menu with whipped juice coffees and dishes mostly oriented to breakfast, but also to lunch or dinner. Friendly and helpful staff. A good place to pause and recover from Leon's heat.

Great food for a fair price

What a gem. I happened to pass by and went in for some lunch. Returned a couple of times since the food was so food. It's nothing fancy, but just tasty and very reasonably prices. I'd surely recommend you to go here.

Horrible customer service. Waited over 10 minutes before we were given menus at our table and then waited longer to order. We had to ask several times for them to bring us water and the food took over 45 minutes. We noticed that people who arrived after us received their food before us. The food was also poor quality. We ordered a pepperoni panini which had low-quality ketchup and cheese. The plates were chipped on the sides and a glass was dirty when it was brought to us. We watched another family come in and sit down to a dirty table with plates/glasses and everything and took a while for them to clear the table. Overall the worst experience I have had at a restaurant in my life. Will never go back and recommend anyone in Leon to look for a better option.

This was our second time here and we ordered food. The food came before our drinks. They forgot one meal and when they finally came with the food it’s was wrong and then they changed us for the wrong and more expensive food. Everything was chaos today.

I liked this cafe so much I had dinner and returned for breakfast. Right across from the Cathedral, it’s a pleasant modern Euro style oasis on my NIca trip- I was ready for a change from authentic. Great coffee, and although a limited menu, the food I had was good.

Funky vibe and simple tasty food

Manana Manana Cafe located opposite the Real e Insigne Basilica, was exactly what this hot and sweaty woman needed in the rising humidity. I retreated to the quiet courtyard at the rear, placed an order for a milk banana smoothie and papas with salsa (which was actually tomato sauce m and mayonnaise in little bowls). I was given the wifi passcode and just like that - I can enjoy Leon. With the gentle background music that doesn’t inhibit my phone conversation with others, I watched the comings and going’s I’d this little cafe. Manana has a real funky, laid back vibe and would fit into the Melbourne coffee culture scene seamlessly. Prices are reasonable ($150 Cordoba / $5.50 Australian / $4.20 USA. Portion size as expected and was all I needed. The menu has the usual burgers and sweet treats, so enough to choose from. Staff were lovely and quick to place and serve orders. Their English is also very good considering my Spanish is rusty. Plus they let me snap a team photo of them. If I’m ever back in Leon again, it’ll be on my hit list. If you haven’t been here, make it happen - you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing food and service

The food was fresh, tasty and presented perfectly. The coffee and iced coffee were great too. The service from the staff was great. Would recommend if you are in Leon for breakfast or lunch
