I dropped by Om Restaurant 2 nights ago but it no longer serves meals as they don't have a kitchen anymore. But money changing services are still available

Om Restaurant is small in size, but serves large portions. Quality is good, prices are reasonable. Things cannot go wrong here.

This place is really an inexpensive choice, so do not expect any atmosphere. The food is okay but the spoons and forks are not so clean.

Here you can eat authentic tibetan food. It is inside the Tibetan Monastery from His Holiness Dalai Lama. Great Thukpa and Thentuk Soup.

It taste OK and the price is average. But we saw so many rats where we were waiting for money exchange and the chai. Later we met another group of people told us this is on there black list! DON'T Go there!

Been already twice. Nice atmosphere and good food. The menu includes lots of Tibetan dishes including momos, tingmo steamed bread, Tibetan bread, farmer breakfast, instant coffees, teas and fresh juices etc. the restaurant is vegetarian only, no smoking allowed and no alcohol on premises. There is a small shop inside selling incense and shawls etc.

The Tibetan Om Cafe is one of a handful of restaurants in town that cater to westerners and Tibetans. There is a small shop there. The service is friendly; there can be a 20 minute wait for the food at the busiest times. There is quite a variety of offerings. You can be quite confident you will not get sick... More
